PALESTINIAN KUFIYA RAFFLE!!

I am raffling off TWO authentic kufiya’s from Palestine!! I know they are almost always sold out and I was generously sent 2, so I figured I would try to raffle them off and help a Gazan family at the same time 🤍🇵🇸

HOW TO ENTER:

Donate the equivalent of €10 (or more) to Hani’s gofundme! This is a vetted gofundme (and a friend of my dear Elios @fallahifag 🤍) and Hani needs help getting his family out of Gaza.

Once you donate send me proof of your donation and I’ll enter your username into the raffle.

EVERY €10 DONATED COUNTS AS AN ENTRY (so if you donate €10 that is one entry, €20 is two entries, etc)

My possibly out-of-reach goal is to not choose a winner until Hani’s gofundme reaches at least €10,000. I will reevaluate if that goal isn’t being reached in a reasonable amount of time. I will use a random generator to choose two winners- you must be comfortable enough to give me a name/address to mail it to if you win. It’ll basically just be first come first serve for who gets which kufiya.

Dr. Areej, Dr. Ahmad, and their child Sarra are a Gazan family who have been suffering from displacement, hunger, and lack of medical care throughout the genocide. Along with three other members of their family — Dr. Areej's mother and Dr. Ahmad's mother and father — they are seeking to evacuate to Egypt.

As part of his promise, Hussam sent 20% of your HelpGazaChildren donations ($4000) to Mahmoud AbuSalama for the 5th time now, including the earlier North Gaza Campaign (as location on our notion site) to buy food and necessary products for families still surviving the dire situation in North Gaza. The food package contains, as you see in the picture below: flour, lentils, canned food, formula, diapers, and women pads!

Alia is trying to evacuate Gaza with her parents and 4 children. Their home in north Gaza was destroyed and their entire neighborhood wiped out. They have no resources in south Gaza and are hungry, sick, and terrified. She is raising money to cover application fees and travel expenses for all 7 members of her immediate family, but the progress has been very slow. If you can spare a few dollars, please keep Alia and her family in mind. Reblogging and reposting the link is immensely helpful as well.

A word from Alia:

Currently, there is no safe place for us to live or to go, as of now we are sharing the tiny space with a large number of people. On top of that, after a hard 110 days during this war, I'm worried about my children not getting food or sleep because they don't have the basic necessities of life.

Hearing bombs and explosions scare us, so we flee from place to place looking for safety. We can't find any medication and we keep getting sick and we don't have access to health care. Many of my family members have been killed, and many other members are missing under rubble, we don't know if they are alive or dead.

Please help me collect the application fees and travel costs for seven people.

Hello everyoneI'm Nozha Emad from Gaza and I'm 23 years old,I study at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, and I'm now in my fifth year, which is my graduation year. Since the continuous bombardment against my country and my people started i could not graduating while I was in the last year of the path that I had chosen for myself, and I was happy with it and proud of what I was doing in it. There was not much left for me to obtain a bachelor’s degree and then practice the profession and return again to continue my path to obtaining a master’s degree, which I had always dreamed of, but the war had a different opinion. My university was bombed by Israel and was not spared. I also lost the pharmacy in which I trained throughout my school years and in which I also intended to work after graduation. Now that I have lost everything, I do not intend to give up yet, and I decided to continue what I started, and I decided to travel and complete my university education abroad, but there is also an obstacle. To obtain travel, you must coordinate in Egypt for an amount of no less than $5,000 per person, which is very large, and this is in addition to the costs of education.
