A couple of days ago I finally finished my colored pencil drawing of this gorgeous pink bougainvillea flower. 🌺 🩷

I previously thought this plant was a hibiscus but it's actually a bougainvillea.

Back in November I posted about a 6" x 6" tile (photo 2) that I painted for the @globalrootsproject mural mosaic, 'America - Nature's Legacy'.

The folks at Mural Mosaic Global Roots have started to assemble the mural! My tile isn't on there yet - I'm excited for when it is! The mural is due to be unveiled in Autumn 2025.

Apologies that I haven't posted in so long. I've been quite unwell over the past few months but I'm delighted to say that I'm almost back to normal and feeling much better!

I've still managed to do some art while I've been ill, but at a much slower progress than usual. I'm still working on the hibiscus colored pencil drawing that I started just after Christmas, so I thought I'd post a progress photo of it so far!
