However, they are dwindling in supplies, hence why we were able to find them. Mistress has said that she will protect me through this encounter to make sure nothing happens, and there will be many Affini to ensure this is all done with the safety of everyone in mind. I have finally been able to retain consciousness enough to write an entry. The past weeks have been harrowing and difficult for me to comprehend, but I would be a liar if I said they were not enjoyable. However, I must offer a report, science waits for no one.

I am unable to recall most of the past weeks, all I can truly remember is visiting Ms. Solanum and conducting an interview. I suspect that she is at fault for me new weaknesses towards certain words or actions, as I remember her stating she would present me a demonstration of how her florets behave while under the effects of the Class-H xenodrugs. I recalled today that those are used for hypnosis and I suspect she truly was giving me a direct demonstration to record rather than something to witness. I feel foolish for believing in such. I had forgotten how effective the Affini are at trickery and misdirection.

I have discussed the matter with my Mistress, and she has agreed to reduce the number of times where she will induce hypnosis to roughly 10 times a week. While it is not ideal, it should allow me enough consciousness to conduct interviews once more. It was difficult to convince her that this was indeed what I needed to be my best self, but I bltruly do believe that is all she wishes for, even if our understandings of such are still rather different.

As for Marianna, Mistress has her under what she likes to call "puppy play time." I will admit, it is rather odd to not hear Marianna talk, but she is rather adorable like this. She appears to have her mental capacity altered to enjoying tasks that are typically enjoyed by canines, such as playing fetch or consuming her meals from a food bowl. She does salivate a fair bit however. It has made it rather difficult as she still appears to be installed with a biomod that causes her salivation to be combined with several xenodrugs.

As a last bit of quick information to report, I have learned that xenodrugs can be absorbed transdermally if in large enough quantity or consentration. However, the effects will be dulled.

Finally, I shall conclude with a wellness report, as I am unaware to how my health has been altered.

Physical health: Below average, lack of proper exercise has cause muscle atrophy, please maintain a proper exercise routine

"Something has... changed. I don't know what yet, but something has changed. I'm recording this cause my arm is refusing to work properly, so I'm stuck using the recorder. I'm not sure what's happening, but I've been less aware of everything ever since interviewing the doll maker. My mechanical parts have been acting strangely, just kinda slumping from time to time without being able to recieve input from me. And I keep falling unconsciousness every now and then, especially whenever I try to access my previous entry. Can't even read the transcript, I just end up waking up a few minutes later. I can't let keep myself fall asleep like this. Ugh, my head is hurting again. Why is it always so much harder to breathe when this happens? Maybe I can ask Mistress for help in this. She's definitely more knowledgeable on all this kind of stuff, and she's always there for me whenever I fall asleep. She's so smart and wonderful, I feel like I'm just a small little doll in her vines, sinking further and further into her grasp. Mistress's friend, the doll maker, helped me realize who I really am. I have finally begun to regain consciousness and mild physical control over my body. I am still mostly relying on being carried around by Mistress which, while a lovely and most heavenly feeling, has absolutely thrown my exercise routine into disarray. Mistress says that I shouldn't be moving on my own for a while anyway, but I'd like to be able to do something.

On a different note, I have given my thanks to Marianna for keeping my logs up to date, even if the way she has written them is highly unprofessional. This is still a researcher journal, even if it is easily publicly acceptable. But I thanked her regardless. She had asked me for some rather... physical affection in order to thank her but I declined due to not reaching such levels of comfortability. I did, however, give here a gentle kiss upon her lips. She seemed rather joyous about that as she then spent the next 12 minutes (I timed it) running around and jumping in the air. I will admit, she is very adorable and pretty when doing so. She is so very sweet and kind to me.

As for my research, it seems I will have to wait until the implant is no longer impairing me in order to continue any kind of interview or in person interaction. I will attempt to see what I can do from my bed in the mean time. Research waits for no one.

Wellness check, may as well see how my health is after several days of nothing but rest.

Addendum: I do not enjoy asking for assistance in my research as I do not believe it will allow for accurate results. However, as I am still not fully recovered and thus still unable to conduct interviews or research, I am reaching out now. Well, I have completed my first day as a floret now I suppose. It feels rather strange and wonderful to write that still, but Mistress gave me a dose of Class-D xenodrugs before I began writing to ensure all of my work is proper and accurate. It feels surprisingly refreshing to not have to think of what words I'll have to write next.

Today was wonderful, if a bit intense. Mistress decided to invite several friends and their florets so we can all play with each other. I had originally planned to sit back further from the others until Mistress reminded that I'm a floret now too and should play with them. I knew that it was because I hadn't really interacted at all with other florets other than Marianna who I very much do adore.

After the celebration, Mistress and I discussed truthfully what to do with me now. I told her that I agree to have the Haustoric Implant put in me but that I wish to be able to continue my research. She agreed that it would prove to be beneficial and that perhaps it would help other independents and feralists to accept this way of life and reduce the risk of Terrans hurting themselves. She was able to set up an appointment for tomorrow, so after today I shall truly no longer ever be an independent. It is all very exciting.

After we finished our discussion, she gave me a cup of tea laced with Class-A and Class-D xenodrugs and pulled me in next to her core, making me explain just how it felt. It was a most heavenly experience, though I had not realized till now just how potent the combination of Class-A's and biorhythms can be.

I'm so tired today. I still can't really believe that I really said all that. I kept thinking through the whole day that I must have been tricked, forced to say something I didn't believe. But who am I kidding, I know I'm happier here. Everything is provided for me from delicious meals to fresh clothes. I no longer have to deal with anyone from my ship calling me a freak or a cybitch, so that's definitely an improvement. I truly am cared for.

It is still feels very odd though. After the recording, I felt Ms. Verdi consol me. She told me that it was alright. That eventually even the most strong-willed can falter and fall. I could only sob silently. She was so very gentle and kind with me, and Marianna even came out to hug me a bunch and they were to lovely. And yet my mind still tried to argue with me on this feeling. Of feeling good. Of feeling protected and safe. Of being, perhaps, loved.

Ms. Verdi has decided that tonight we will celebrate my decision to stay. Cook some fancy meal, all eat together, have a bath, everything. Then, she will be giving me a gift. Some kind of clothing for me to always wear so I can remember I'm loved and cared for. I wonder what it could be.

She also said we'll discuss if I wish to continue my research in the morning and about getting me a Haustoric Implant. I am definitely leaning towards continuing my work, as there is so much to learn, especially now with Ms. V- Mistress by my side.

Oh, I should probably still do a wellness check, just to update my health.
