Random but since the last alien stage comic I feel like people have mischaracterized mizi a lot as some like manipulative sadist and such but like rather I feel like the aliens only ever gave her attention or called her cute and etc when she was in pain or rather was being “crushed” and because of that she’s just associated pain and crushing someone with love and with them being “cute” so she wasn’t particularly out to hurt sua and had genuinely cared for her (obviously because she cried when she died and was distraught) but just didn’t understand love and human emotions as they were something she had stripped from her and she wasn’t feigning innocence and in a way WAS still innocent but in a way that people didn’t necessarily think of

the final boss theme for chapter four in my opinion perfectly encapsulates every feeling I had gotten from fear and despair to the hope of defying the inevitable that Susie had given to the group despite all odds and idk I love it

okay so I just read the new chainsaw man chapter and I absolutely love what fujimoto cooked up because we have a lot to work with here such as Denji getting a “second” chance to make the right decision with his admittedly questionable moral compass to denji being reverted to more of a child when he starts apologizing and pieces together everything (trauma) to more Asa development where we see how she wants to save Denji so bad she was willing to BLOW HERSELF UP to get to him and finally she paralleled something we saw all the way back when the falling devil last showed up where Denji saved her from her slump of despair from her mistakes and now she is trying to save him from his own slump of his mistakes

Deltarune is genuinely the best game I’ve ever played and just idk I’m thinking about it and I love every motif on freedom and fate that the game has and every character is written so well and just the idea that even if something is foreseen and supposedly inevitable with enough hope you can get through it and like Susie has hope to the point of where it may be foolish yet her “foolishness” is still aspiring enough to light up the hearts of everyone else around her no matter how stupid or unrooted her hope may be and I love that and just aggghaahhhh it’s so peak

The new chainsaw man chapter was yet again extremely interesting I feel like denji is much more like “composed” than he was in the past especially with how he handled fakesaw man but besides from yoru vs falling im really interested in what the fire devil may represent stemming from the question they had asked “Do you remember his face” i feel as if they may represent (with the minimal info I have) how fleeting things can be and how one can kind of lose control or fuck up insanely fast (which also could relate to yoru and how unstable she is as the war devil)

Random taps but I loved the lucky cyan episode and find it really interesting how she had pretty much had her childhood stripped away from her by the orphanage and those who should have protected her because of of her good luck and how by making her like first connection she was able to learn good luck doesn’t always have to be positive and while in an general sense that seems like an odd message cyan was able to see how she is being used to pretty much make a cult but her good luck doesn’t have to be a curse or something that will take from her and she can be just like any other child just as he could with his bad luck

I just binged alien stage and like I just had to say the final had me tweaking with how Till had remembered both Ivan and Mizi before dying and how at least in my eyes Till was someone who started rambunctious and mellowed out from everything he had gone through and via remembering how Ivan had died and by seeing mizi in the crowd he tried his best to get past both his shock and Luka’s actions but to no avail as it had been too late :(

The type of person denji is genuinely incites my curiosity so much because on a surface level he may seem uncaring or easily manipulated while in the last few chapters we have seen how he genuinely does care for people such as how he can’t cut through fakesaw man as he does not wish to harm innocent people as well as the fact that he finally pointed out yoru truly is a devil he’s improving even with his desire for connection and I just kinda love how Denji still is trying to find out what love or what human connection REALLY means while learning that some people really are bad for you such as yoru or Makima from part 1 and etc (also love the fact that we do see how empathetic he can be at times in the current arc or fights even if he says it’s cause they’re his fans)

I just wanted to yap and have no where else to do this but like I’ve been really fixated on to be hero x and I love the parallel with the arcs of Lin Ling and Yang Cheng as Lin Ling had fought against the tide and had found himself despite the toxic environment he was in and in the end had never truly lost sight of himself while Yang Cheng had lost complete sight of himself because of his grief and had simply turned into a pawn to be manipulated ultimately breaking the promise he had made with Xia Qing and allowing his grief and anger to simply make him become someone who isn’t truly HIM
