i had my last open house of my high school career today :3 very funsies i went around chatting to a lot of teachers and i got a lot of compliments from the incoming freshmen & their parents (they are not yet used to my shenanigans) gonna try and stay hopeful of it being a good year i just gotta stay on top of stuff!! ᰔฅ՞•ﻌ•՞ฅ

i got some frozen strawberry lemonade bc my school had an ice cream truck (it was pink!!) and i thought it was pretty yummy & helped me cope with some questionable new policies (just gotta close my eyes and remember it's not my problem for much longer) ʕ｡- ˕ -｡ʔ

in honor of school coming up (..and college app season for me rip) we took my sister back to school shopping for clothes.. which i did *attempt* to dress casual for!! did i succeed in being casual.. um for me, yes!! for anyone normal.. no. my sister did make sure to refer to me as "tumblr gay" though which im not sure what that means but i am gay and i do have tumblr so..? (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟ

i got my wisdom teeth out and omg did it take me out of commission!! im healing ok but it was definitely an experience ૮ ྀིᴗ͈ . ᴗ͈ ྀིა⁩

luckily i got to see one of my friends before i got them out & i wore my new dress!! i got a dress & 3 bows (one of which being the matching kc) and i really enjoy the style of floppy bows on my head!!

and then ofc i had to dress cute to get my wisdom teeth out.. bc why not!! it was 8am & everyone loved it and told me how cute i looked 𐔌՞꜆. ̫.꜀՞𐦯

aa i haven't dressed up in forever!! i saw superman saturday & even though im not a superhero person i had a lot of fun!! i wore blue and purple to match with my sister who wore red and purple bc red & blue are superman and they make purple!! then yesterday i took my senior photos :3 i love this dress so much i wore it for some of my senior photos & the coord i put together was so cutesy i will be repeating it (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)

today was definitely a day!! the best part was dressing up though 𐔌՞꜆.  ̫.꜀՞𐦯 i got a couple compliments & that was fun!! we went to dave and busters but i was super overstimulated and out of it sigh ₍ᐢ._.ᐢ₎

i def did put on makeup at 4am to sit in the car 6+ hours otw to the beach!! why did i do this?? not a clue actually (⁠=⁠^⁠･⁠ｪ⁠･⁠^⁠=⁠)

aaah thank you so much!! ૮ >ﻌ< ა honestly, it's just a matter of time - for me ive been dressing like this since 7th(?) grade so it was covid when i started and i had time to get acclimated!! honestly it helped that my teachers were pretty chill about it & i went to an art middle school so the only comment i really got was my male teacher asking if i was wearing a bonnet and being like "oh ok, cool!!" i have pretty bad anxiety so whenever people stare, which is inevitable, i honestly just default to thinking "oh they're staring because of my outfit" which eliminates a lot of thinking for me!! people were genuinely not that bad (i had a fan club at some point!) and people still remember me now for my outfits!! when you're getting used to going out try and stay around friends if possible or people you know are kinda nice! when i go out in public other than school i still usually bring someone with me just for comfort & even sometimes in school if im having an off day i'll linger more around my friends!! kinda same idea for highschool, i go to a small magnet school so whatever shock they initially had they got over it VERY quickly, all that matters to them is the quality of my work! they actually are more weirded out if i wear pants or am not super dressed up so that's kinda fun too!! the main high school im not at a lot but my motto when im up there is just to know that if people are weird or rude to me it says more about them because i am minding my business!! the other school i go to is a career academy & i go for academic classes along with graphic design and fashion design so they're also not really weirded out! i live in the south so there are always gonna be some weird or rude people but i just try to ignore them!! honestly im kinda oblivious & to me while how i dress is an important part of my identity for me, to most people they don't feel that way so how you dress doesn't matter to them! honestly the whole reason i have this blog is to work on my fear of being perceived!! ૮ ◞ ﻌ ◟ ა

tldr; people being weird is inevitable, but most people are super nice & you have to remember that them being rude or treating you poorly is a reflection on themselves and has nothing to do with you or how you dress!! if you're anxious about people looking at you try & distract yourself with whatever like friends, fidget toys, thinking, etc! it gets easier to ignore it as you go ૮ • ﻌ • ྀིა

i went to a friend's birthday party & even though i was a little overstimulated and i don't think my face showed it i had a pretty good time!! i had my car with me to fiddle with so i was fairly calm & my friend wanted me to take home one of their stuffed animals which was really sweet?? ok so i coincidentally sat with my 10th grade lit teacher during moving up ceremony lolsies bc her son is ALSO a rising freshman!! she's sweet though and people always compare us bc she also wears colorful dresses with petticoats (just more 50s styled circle skirts!) today was good im so tired though!! the grind doesn't stop though because i will be getting cute AGAIN tomorrow for a birthday party wooooo ฅ^>⩊<^ ฅ

this is something completely different and fun, but the gifts i made my friends!! i got REALLY busy with gift making/giving!

i made us all matching cats, keychains, and friendship bracelets!! (bring back friendship bracelets for teenagers btw!!)

i made one of my friends a hello kitty luffy figure by request!! i made one last year for a friend at the time's birthday, and my friend saw it and thought it was so cute so i made him one too C:

so i just realized what i THOUGHT would be a rest day for me to sob about the state of my life is my sister's moving up ceremony. you may be wondering, why do you need to sob??? MY FRIENDS ARE GRADUATING AAHHHHHH i went to one of the graduations bc i had more friends at that school and when i tell you i was BAWLING my eyes out. i really was considering wearing makeup but i talked myself out of it and im glad i did because not even 5 minutes in i was crying!! ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

i promise my patterns WERE balanced, i had a purple polka dot cardigan bc the church was cold but it's almost 90 degrees and you will not catch me in a cardigan for funsies!! this jsk was requested by one of my friends who was graduating (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ

my OTHER friend, who it was our second time meeting in person told me "I noticed you instantly I looked and saw the head piece then looked up and down and instantly went 'Fluffy dresses cute, it’s her'" so that's one other benefit to looking so cute all the time!

im so surprised i haven't cried yet it's definitely gonna hit me soon!! i just watched my sister's last production in middle school (it was hamlet, 8th grade always does hamlet at the school i went to!) and it just made me so emotional like omg these kids ive known so long are growing up!! like ive been here at these shows cheering them on more than a lot of their parents and soon i won't be able to do that anymore and that makes me so sad ૮꒰◞ ˕ ◟ ྀི꒱ა

tomorrow the seniors are graduating!! im going to some of my friends' graduation and sitting with one of their families so a little nervous!! they vaguely know of me bc of how i dress so that's a lil scary!! AND IM MEETING ONE OF MY FRIENDS FOR THE SECOND TIME EVER IN PERSON AND HES KINDA SCARY!! (he is not THAT scary i just have a fear of men and anyone taller than me.. and im 5ft tall.)

AAA it was my official last day today! i got an 82 on my math final with the curve so i am VERY happy especially considering i felt a lil self conscious going into it!! when i got home i just continued on making senior gifts and i mentioned in passing to one of my senior friends a figure i had made this guy for his birthday of hello kitty luffy (i know nothing about one piece i did minimal research for said gift!) and he mentioned maybe wanting one if i had free time.. so i immediately made him one because im not used to people appreciating my art ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )

aaaa not official last day but it was my last full day of junior year today :CC i feel like im growing up so quick & it's a really interesting experience i don't feel ready!! this week has had a LOT going on but i feel like overall it's been a good week ive been called pretty a lot which definitely helps!! this morning my research teacher said i looked beautiful as always C: im gonna have someone attempt to pick up my mug for me next week and drop it off at my house cause my teacher is taking his SWEET time lol

i love my friends so much i feel like they allow me to be very vulnerable and the happiest, sweetest version of myself without needing to mask 24/7 - they keep comparing me to a clingy cat because my fav thing to say is "why are you so far from me." ۶ৎ sometimes life gets hard and i feel like things are bad and will be bad forever but this fashion has helped me so much & im so much happier even if i don't feel like im making much progress ₍^. .^₎Ⳋ
