helloooo i finished the new house today (well it's gonna be a continual work in progress but finished for now), and then it was Harvestfest so we had a dinner party with like everyone they know :) i think it was the first day since i started playing this save that i didn't have the bar open but i wanted the two employees to be at the party so that wouldn't have worked lol

ik i posted the exterior of the house last post but i changed some things so here's how it's lookin on the outside :)

this is one of my fav spots on the inside, i'm making a little gallery wall next to the staircase and then i put some shelving against the stairs to put collectables n cute little decor pieces for the generations going forward :)

the Harvestfest party was cutie also, the house was so full lol i had the full 15 allowed guests, here's like half the party eating in the kitchen

Leo asked Karli to prom and she said yes !!! well actually she said this LMAO

but we'll take it !!!! and Nora made her first BFF, one of the kids Bob and Eliza Pancakes had, Mollie :) she's such a little cutie lol here's them hanging out in the treehouse

and then after the party i had Lynn and Jake woohoo, let me tell you i have mccommandcenter with risky woohoo on like 7% or something like a pretty low chance. this is the first time they've woohoo'd since Dylan was born. guess what.

at least i didn't have to cheat to make it a girl LOL i'll probably end up aging up Dylan a day sooner so he can be a toddler when the baby is born aAAAA omg !!!! i'm excited hehe but Lynn is getting sterilized after this one ENOUGH!! predicting a mini Jake once again, i think that would be perfect then they'll both have a boy and a girl that look like them and that would just be cute okay 😾 omg what am i gonna name her !!!! much to think about

hello i'm back school is good so far and Halsey was incredible anyways more importantly i built a new house for the Blume family today !!!! the main part of the house is one of my fav house shells that i've built and use all the time lol and i also added on a whole 'nother wing to be the bar :)) i'm still working on moving them in, i have to finish "unpacking" their stuff out of the household inventory and like decorating and whatever but i really like the house 🥺 here's some pictures of the outside hehe

it is huge lol but at least it's not 3 stories high like the last place !!!! it's 5 beds 2 baths, and the backyard has a pool, a patio, a treehouse (still to be built), and a little shed that will be Lynn's studio :) and there's like 4 porches for some reason idk

oh and obviously i did end up moving them to that lot in Newcrest lol, i also made a little plan of how i wanna build up Newcrest for this save !!

i already had a bowling alley i'd previously built that i placed there today but i still have the whole rest of that world to build up, i have some more previously built houses i could use for the family/friends, i'm excited about building the spa because i don't think i've built one before!! for the kid-friendly restaurant i'm kind of thinking like a retro-themed diner, and then for the semi-nice restaurant (like somewhere for dates n stuff) probably an italian place ?? yeee it's gonna take me a while, i'm not gonna super rush building it up i'll probably focus on at least their neighborhood at first, if nothing else so it looks fuller in screenshots lol but i wanna move some of their friends from the city into Newcrest so i gotta give them places to live!! anyways that's all for today i love my sims byeee

alright i spent probably like an hour playing around with different options for how to put an addition of some sort on the house, what i ended up settling on was adding another floor above the apartment and deleting the basement, and now the third floor has Leo and Nora's rooms :) it's not my favorite thing in the world, the building in general wasn't my usual style of build to begin with and it's just so tall now 🥲 mayhaps we will move out of the city and into my favorite spot in the game, the 30x40 lot in the Ridgeline Drive neighborhood of Newcrest 😍

it's not awful but it's not great, at least from the outside. i do like the kids' new bedrooms tho :) this is Nora's:

there's no way. i opened Lynn's Aspirations panel to look at something. LOOK WHAT SHE HAS IN HER BUCKET LIST TOO !!!

so now both her AND Jake wanna have another kid liiike i guess they have to !!! i think i'm gonna wait like two days in-game and then have them start trying again, that way i won't have two infants at once lol and then Dylan and this baby will be really close in age, which could be nice since he's so much younger than his other siblings. i want it to be another girl so Nora can have a sister 🥺 i'll probably cheat it if it doesn't just end up being a girl tbh

ugh where am i gonna put all these kids !!!! none of the kids' bedrooms are particularly large where they could easily be shared, unless i did bunk beds but i don't usually like using them with short wall height since they're basically at the ceiling. i suppose since i've already started building in the basement i could add another room down there, but i kind of hate the basement situation because the rest of the house is two floors up so every time Leo wants to go eat breakfast with his family he has to walk up a flight of stairs, walk through the studio and the bar, and then walk up another flight of stairs into the kitchen. sooo annoying. i'm kind of thinking of building a wing off of the studio into that side of the backyard bc idk what else to do !! and Nora is gonna need a bigger room soon too bc her current room could NOT fit a double bed omg much to think about

okay. so here's the thing. Lynn's cute new hair. it's the swatch of this hair style that's the (slightly more) toned light blonde right.

so i aged Dylan into an infant. remember when i said i thought he was gonna look like his dad because he has his eye color? well, brown eyes are in fact a dominant gene, he looks just like his mom, just got his dad's eye color! cute !! love it !!! BUT. he *did* get his mom's hair, except it goes off of whatever color is on the parent's heads when the baby is born right. imagine my shock when i age up this baby, expecting another mini Jake, only to see THIS !!!

BLONDE !!!! literally platinum Lynn with brown eyes

it's kind of cute tho lol i think what i'm gonna do is have him be one of those kids who starts out blonde but their hair gets darker over time until it's just brown. i also think it's just a little silly to have a blonde baby in this house full of brunettes. he'll really stand out in family photos lol

after i fixed him up in CAS (and also changed up some of everyone's outfits and stuff) Jake picked him up to hold him n as i was taking these cute screenshots he got the little pop-up from Growing Together asking if he wanted to have the Family-Oriented trait 🥺 which i did say yes to hehe but it made my heart melttt like what a sweet moment 😭

still mad he had the audacity to put another child on his bucket list after this sweet little angel was born but also. hmm. on one hand i do NOT want to manage 6 sims in this house. on another hand, Lynn and Jake don't age up into elders until looong after Leo will have moved out and maybe even after Dylan? i'll have to check the math on that. but what i'm saying is theoretically they could have another kid when there's less of their older kids in the house. but by that time Nora could almost be having kids!!! so i think i'm probably gonna have him erase it from his bucket list and make Lynn infertile in CAS lol no more babies for them !!!!

also i put one of the pictures from it before but i had Lynn do a little photoshoot with Giovani, i wanted them to have some nice pictures together before he dies since he's an elder now 🥲

i was trying to have her do a paint by reference of him but he would NOT stand still or be in a good spot and i got sooo sick of it after like 3 tries, i really wish they would add a feature to have sims pose for reference paintings, it could work similar to how the tripod from the Moschino stuff pack works which would also be a nice feature to revamp considering it's currently exclusive to a $10 stuff pack that barely has anything good in it. i also wish they would add more poses for photos in general i'm sooo tired of having the same poses for everything all the time. i gotta find some good CC ones to download because i'm gonna be doing a lot of photoshoots with this family lol.

the third Blume baby has arrived !!! his name is Dylan :) he's still in object baby form bc i didn't feel like dealing with an Infant yet but i will be confronting that the next time i play. i'm excited to see what he looks like !!! i zoomed in on his face and it looks like his eyes are dark brown like his dad's so i think he's gonna be another Jake twin. i think that would be cute hehe bc then he'll also look like his big brother Leo n that's just sweet to me :)

i was thinking about my plans as far as who's going to be living on this lot, because it's Lynn's (and Jake's) house first and foremost like she is dying here this is her home !!! and i want Nora to take over the bar one day so she'll be living here too and then her partner and kids, PLUS Dylan is gonna be around foreverrrr i mathed it out and when Nora ages into a Young Adult, Dylan is going to either have just aged into a Teen or be about to, and they're Teens for sooo long now since HSY so he'll be living here a while too. Leo will probably move out with Karli when they graduate and age up so he'll really be the only one not living there LOL.

speaking of Leo and Karli they're really cute :') they haven't started dating or even really flirting yet, i think i'm gonna have him make a promposal sign the next time i play to kind of kick that off, but Leo keeps inviting her over after school n he always gets Flirty around her bc he has a crush on her lol i'm excited to play out their relationship :))

oh and Jake has been mentoring Nora with piano more and after one of the most recent times he got this sentiment and i actually could have cried it was my first time getting it and i just thought it was so sweet :')

she's been doing pretty good learning she's already up to level 5!! i wanna have her start learning singing soon bc she can do that while she's a Child still n then when she ages up she's gonna learn guitar !!

last thing hehe i had them do a lil photoshoot for Leo's first day of high school except in a twist shocking to nobody the photography thing was being glitchy so i didn't have time to get photos with everyone but he did get some with Karli and with his mama :)

hi i've been playing a lot today lol Leo aged up into a teen, Lynn is officially pregnant with the third baby (a boy !!), and i built a basement bed n bath for Leo bc i needed a bedroom for the baby lol so that's what his old room will be :) also i had them do a cute lil autumnal sunset maternity shoot here's some pics from it :))

also i've been having fun with Lynn having the same hair style but different color variations of it, i've been trying to kind of follow a story with it, she started with this vibrant pink and purple variant:

and then i was like oh it'd be cute if she was platinum blonde, but i didn't wanna do a drastic change so i changed it to this version where it's blonde at the roots fading into a lighter purple, that way it's like the pink/purple is growing and fading out and she's lightened just her roots :)

n then after a while i changed it to the solid version that's platinum !! she had that one for a long time i feel like lol

n now i've been feeling like she's due for a change and i started to do the maternity shoot n was like yeah i cannot look at this all white hair anymore LOL especially with her being an Adult now it ages her more than is necessary. so i was playing around with the different gradient options and came across this one !!! and it's so cute it's like she's growing out the blonde and her natural roots are coming in :) so i think she'll have this for a little bit n then do her natural color (the color of her eyebrows) for a while!!

also i realized i mentioned in my last post that i was doing a legacy with this family but i didn't talk about the specifics 😭 so what i wanna do is have Lynn pass down ownership of the bar to the heir of the next gen (probably Nora) and then each generation going forward will continue to pass on ownership of the bar :) i think it'll be fun to have each generation change things about the bar like decor, staff, activities, what they sell there, yeah !!!! and each heir will also continue to live there, obviously lol.

oh and this is Leo's basement bedroom :)

i made his new trait Geek (also he completed the Social Butterfly childhood aspiration n got the reward trait from that, and aged up with high self-esteem yay !!), i'm sending him down the edgy nerd route lol i'm having him learn programming and i think i'm gonna have him do robotics eventually !! i aged up Karli and one of the other neighbor kids, Andre, that he's friends with n gave them all new outfits and stuff, took longer than i needed to with it but i had fun hehe :3 this is Leo n Karli hanging out after his bday party :)

i made her a Geek as well i think i'm gonna have her be a Scientist !! i mentioned in the last post i had been kind of planning for her to be his first (maybe only who knows) girlfriend and like as soon as they were both aged up he got the Crush sentiment on her i know that's right she was literally made for u king !!!! and also to be friends with Nora lol i think she still has higher friendship with Karli, Nora has like a week left of being a child n then they're gonna be besties forever :)

i'm so excited for the new baby !!! also nervous about it bc that's gonna be fiiiiive sims to manage, i'm already having a tough time with four i keep doing that thing where i pause the game, queue up a few things for everyone to do for a bit and then let the game run until the queue ends. but i will manage 🫡

oh my god and i can't believe i forgot to mention. i did in fact adopt a dog, meet the new italian greyhound, Charlie!!

he reminds me of Kermit lol. i had brought him and a corgi puppy for the adoption evaluation and i did rlly want the corgi but her traits were ass LMAO i don't remember exactly what they were but Charlie's were better ig. also not obsessed with the name Charlie but i no joke spent like five whole minutes randomizing names and none of them were calling to me, and i will always settle for a Twilight name. i might end up changing it tho lol i kind of want it to give the vibe that the kids named him like something silly !! on the off chance that anyone reads this post and especially this long into it i will gladly take suggestions 😅 name aside he is a little cutie pie, legit smaller than Giovani (who hates him so far btw)

anyways i'm going to bed i love this little family sm :) i can't wait to see what the new baby looks like eeeee i'm so excited :3

hello :)

i wanted to make this blog to have a place to ramble about my sims and also document the legacy i'm playing at the moment because i'm just so obsessed with them so here i am !!

i've been playing with the Blume family since early April, i started with the founder, Lynn, here's the icon herself when i first made her:

she has the Music Lover, Creative, and Romantic traits, and has also gotten the Family-Oriented trait since having her kids :) and she's working on the Big Happy Family aspiration. she lives in the Spice District of San Myshuno in an apartment above her small business gay bar, Flamingo !! she also paints and does gemology and sells her creations at the bar, honestly that's how we get most of our money lol they currently have around $90,000 simoleons and their house is worth about the same amount! she just recently mastered the painting skill and is about to max out cooking and gemology too!

here's some pictures of the house from the outside, currently decorated for Spooky Day :) the base is actually a build i made forever ago, long before Businesses and Hobbies and was originally a bakery retail lot with an apartment upstairs, i renovated it for this save and then added on an addition upstairs after they had their second kid, the room that has black brick exterior :)

the downstairs is the bar and Lynn's studio, and the upstairs is their apartment!

Lynn is married to her husband Jacob, and they have two kids, Leo and Nora (Lynn is pregnant with their third but hasn't found out yet, thanks mccommandcenter). Jake is a musician, he's mastered the guitar and piano skills and is about to max out singing. he's a Loner, Art Lover, and Cheerful, and has the Musical Genius aspiration. here's them playing video games together like right after they had Leo lol they look like babies to me here now :')

Leo has one more day til he ages up to a teen :( he's got the Good trait, has completed the Mind & Body and Rambunctious Scamp aspirations and is almost finished with the Social Butterfly one, and has earned the Top Notch Infant, Happy Toddler, Physically Gifted, and Headstrong reward traits so far!! i'm not quite sure what i wanna have him do as he gets older yet career/skill-wise, but i do have his first girlfriend already made lol her name is Karli and she's one of the neighbor kids, Leo and Nora are both friends with her. oh and did i mention he is his dad's twin!!

Nora just aged up into a child not too long ago, she's a Goofball with the Artistic Prodigy aspiration and the Top Notch Infant and Happy Toddler reward traits. i think she's gonna be the legacy heir, i have a vision for her lol she idolizes her dad :') and she wants to be a rock star. her fashion sense is veryyyy Hannah Montana and its so fun hehe :3 i'm gonna have her dad teach her how to play piano while she's a child n then she can learn guitar from him too when she ages into a teen, she also rlly likes the drawing table so maybe she'll paint like her mama too!! speaking of whom she looks exactly like her mom lol

they also have a family cat, Giovani, adopted by Lynn basically immediately after i started the save lol. he's Territorial, Mischievous, and Clever, he spends a lot of the time hanging out in the bar hissing at patrons and sleeping by Jake while he plays music on the stage. he just aged up into an elder :(((

and that's where we're at currently :) i'll post some highlights from the save so far soon but it's late and i wanna sleep lol
