Variety appearances and Sawol tended not to match well. Most shows shied away from the very blunt and dry idol, not out of dislike for her, but due to the fact that it was hard to get a reaction out of her. Unless the segment was trying to get some sort of emotion out of Sawol. Though, she found herself on an episode of Hello Counselor with her fellow label mate, Sora. The two seemed to hit it off when they were not in front of the camera, though it was never easy for Sawol to tell. Her social gauge never worked properly, and she sounded so serious even when she was attempting to be humorous that she wasn’t sure if she came off the way she intended. Regardless, the two had exchanged numbers and agreed to get some coffee (or in Sawol’s case, tea) on a weekend where neither her nor Sora were promoting. With a baseball cap hung low enough on her face to at least obscure it slightly, she waited in seat in the back for Sora to make her appearance.

My Company Hates Me || Sawol + Kangjun

Sawol tried her best not to judge, even though the expression on her face would convey something extremely different. Her cold eyes looked over the younger male’s choice in clothing. It was tasteless to say the very least, though it would be a disservice to those who are merely tasteless. Why someone would wear so much neon green that he could be seen from space was beyond her, and the idea that a stylist would pick out this kind of combination was highly unlikely. BC artists were usually extremely polished, almost unsettling so. Once the boy seemed to catch her staring, Sawol looked back at him a bit offering no real indication on her feels behind her words. “Please tell me that a stylist gave you the ‘My-Company-Hates-Me’ treatment when it came to picking out whatever,” she paused slightly, “that is?” She gesturing to his outfit.

ooc/intro

Guess who’s back and in action? Bug with Sawol, and she’s not in WISH this time loves. Aria needs some love, and by golly, we will get some members someday (Guys please join it, Aria’s been empty since this group opened.) Most of her intro is the same, but here it is for the most part. Just like this for plots!

Born to a pastor and his wife when they werent expecting any kids, she she got a bit overshadowed by her much older sisters.

Very shy, and still kinda is. Takes a long time for her real personality to flourish. But she grew up with a really bad stutter and was teased for it. Her dad kinda talked over her as well, mainly because he didnt like that the other kids were teasing her, but she thought it was because he was embarrassed by it.

It’s gone for the most part, but she still has some issues with words flipping or getting stuck on sounds. She will just have pauses if she feels she is going to trip up to say the word in her head first before getting it out. Doesn’t guarantee it comes out okay.

Her speech therapist suggested she go into music, specifically singing, and she fell in love with it since she wouldn’t stutter as she sang.

She joined the youth choir at her father’s church and was a soloist for them until the death of her mother.

It sent ripples throughout the family. And her father moved them to South Korea at a new church to see if they could heal a bit better without the baggage surrounding them.

The sisters took a long time to adjust since South Korea is so different from America.

Eventually, Saowl got scouted by a Christian company and debuted in a Christian Pop duo. They did well in the Christian community, but they became mainstream after the success of an OST soundtrack song.

After that, she got offered a contract at Gold Star and debuted with Aria as the main vocalist.

Gets in scandals because she is a bit dry and emotionless. Also, because she tends to find herself in dating scandals which doesnt just hurt because of Aria’s innocent image, but because she’s the sweet ‘pastor’s daughter’ as well.
