#Charbroiled #Oysters are EVERYTHING we can't wait to arrive in #NOLA on Friday with @gasco @laseafoodboard for another #Foodiechats good time!! 📹@louisianatravel
Since I started blogging several months ago I have been partaking in #FoodieChats on Twitter. It’s exactly what it sounds like. A bunch of foodies talking to other foodies about food (basically making each other drool). Last night the question “how far you would travel for a food experience?” was asked. This had me reminiscing about the time my roommates and I drove an hour and a half just to get Chik-fil-a. No, it wasn’t like the plot of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle or the Workaholic’s episode ’Hungry Like A Wolf Dog’. We just really craved Chik-fil-a and a spontaneous adventure.
That being said, it’s part of the college experience to embark on a spontaneous adventures. The things you encounter along the way can be great mementos. Whether your road trip is successful or not, they are great stories that you can share with friends. However, there are many things that you need to keep in mind. Otherwise, things could take a turn for the worst.
*Note: Drugs and alcohol should not be influencing you while driving
