We didn’t start in the same position in life. I was obligated to take absolutely nothing and turn it into gold. I’ve never been this centered. I’ve never been this focused. I’ve never been this happy. I’ve never been open about who I actually am. I’ve never dropped people’s preconceived notions and actually decided to live for myself. Last night I went to sleep 6am. I’m back up and ready to cease the day. Cars ain’t driving themselves. Mansions ain’t building themselves. People can’t free theirselves with out inspiration. My family migrated from South St.Louis to Pine Lawn to Dellwood and then eventually to Ferguson. You can do anything you put your mind and your energy towards. The Appreciation Show this weekend was one for the books. My life is moving fast af right now. There’s no way I could leave the city without blessing my hometown. We hit capacity two hours after the doors opened. We announced the show two weeks ago. Everyone was free for the first hour. I’m spearheading this movement for more unity amongst us. So much I could say about last night. But we have to start with thank you. I mean this from the heart. I truly don’t care about rap. It’s just a vessel for me to touch souls. It’s nothing more than a vehicle to reclaim the things they stole from us. When I was a child they told me I was going to be a preacher. I rejected that notion. But now I understand I’m doing my part to bring in the will of the ancestors. Move with the spirit of God at all times.
