Sorprende come non si riesca ancora a far comprendere alle Istituzioni la necessità di integrare sistematicamente gli odontoiatri forensi e l’#odontologiaforense nelle autopsie a fini identificativi. Uno sforzo sul quale anche la #MedicinaLegaleUniTo sta provando a mettere in campo competenze, risorse ed energie.

#AFOHR is partner of the following workshop held in Lucknow (India), king’s George Medical University, 1st August 2019 | Thirty-two #forensicscience and #dentistry graduate students got acquainted with most important specialties in the field of Disaster Victim #Identification and #INTERPOL standards. A full day workshop with interdisciplinary collaborations among professionals and hands-on. This workshop was part of the international conference on Forensic Odontology and #ChildAbuse, held in Lucknow, 2-3 August. A special thanks to the Organising Chairman Dr. Shaleen Chandra and Organising Secretary Dr. Shalini Gupta for conducting such a successful workshop.

Based on selfie fashion and social networking, I invented in 2018 a new App called #SelfieForensicID: employ selfie and face photographs as an archive of dental data and dental features of the front teeth shared via Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter (available for free download from both Android and Apple store at http://onelink.to/selfieforensic).
