Being a bit crass here but I do think some of you forgot that people are in fact oppressed for being imposed female, and/or AFAB, and/or having associated body parts. (And more so if they go against that gender/sex assignment, because cisnormative society fucking hates trans people)

This is not a slight against transfems and trans women and nonbinary folk who don't have this experience. You very much still very much suffer from misogyny/transmisogyny and violent oppression under patriarchy. This is not a "you don't know misogyny because you're not AFAB" post, it's just that I seriously think some people in queer discourse have forgotten that like... Having breasts/a uterus/a vagina is very much also in and of itself a reason a person is oppressed. This absolutely also applies to transfems & nonbinary who have medically transitioned to have any number of these traits. (It even applies to cis guys with these body parts, whether from medical intervention or from being intersex)

If we're going to talk about intersectionality, why not talk about the intersecting oppression of people who are both transgender and have body parts which are marked as lesser, sexualized, comodified, and objectified from the moment they are born under patriarchy.

I think people need to be more aware thar gender-based oppression also applies to body parts and a physical appearance associated with the "Lesser" gender under patriarchy. Regardless of if the person with those body parts is a woman.

And then there's the whole can of worms that is fighting against the forceful imposition of womanhood that is a central part of transmasculine experiences, that I don't feel I can meaningfully speak on because that's not my experience. (But I'd love for someone who can to add onto this post)
