Hello! I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm looking for a book that I just can't find, and I was wondering if you could help me.

It's about people playing a video game, but the game was aware (I'm pretty sure it called itself ALIAS, and at one point comunicated with writing random strings of letters and the first letter of each composed a phrase). At one point one of the MC could bring the character he created into the real world, but her weakness was water (once they needed her to get back into the game and made her touch some water). At the end she came back and became a real person.

I was pretty sure that the (Italian) cover was mostly red with a single character and that the name of the book was "Golem", but I've searched with those words and I can't find it anywhere, so I'm not so sure anymore.

Assuming that google translate is somewhat accurate, I may have found a possible match! I was only able to find an edition in French, but try looking into the Golem series by Elvire Murail, Marie-Aude Murail, and Lorris Murail. The name of the French edition of the first book is Magic Berber, if that helps.

Hey i've been trying to find this book for about 3 years now :')...it was about these two girls starting college and one of them i think had some sort of synesthesia/she was an artist who was severely depressed; the other was a part of a species of people who fed off of the emotions of humans and they had to find out who was sapping the artist's happiness away from her when it started up again. There was the word "Shadows" in the title im pretty sure and the alien girl had some sort of amphibious lizard familiar? Thank you in advance!

Hey, it's the gold alien erotica anon 😅 I finally found the book I was looking for, quite by accident! The book is titled Deep Kiss of Winter and the story itself is by Gena Showalter. I found it at a secondhand bookstore while I was looking for The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo, and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was what I was looking for 😂😂😂

I just looked up the description of that and it's always fun when the phrase "dangerously seductive" is included. I'm glad you were able to find your book!

im looking for this book I never finished. Its about this girl that lives in space who is a bodyguard for this other girl, and shes like not exactly human? Like shes taller stronger faster heavier and everyone else doesnt like her species?experiments so they killed them since they think they’re animals but her friend and her family protect her?pretend kill cause besties and stuff but then the leader want the daughter to come to palace and his son is insane !tried to fit a lot!

There are certain genres that give weird results when you try to look for them and it seems that bodyguard is one of them!

While I was able to find manly alien bodyguard x frail human girl romance I wasnt able to find this book, perhaps somebody else out there has read this or knows what it is?

hey, i remeber reading a book with a pale lime green cover and it had possibly the word „crazy“ and „clean“ in the title? it was about a girl with ocd and annoyingly the only thing i very clearly remember is her listening to the kaiser chiefs albums in the morning. i know she ends up at a hospital somewhere but i can’t for the life of me work out the title of this book! thank u in advance 🤩

If anybody is looking for recommendations about YA books featuring a main character with OCD I highly recommend Every Last Word, I read it a few years ago and it made me cry so that's a good sign :)

Hey, so I'm looking for a romance novella (I assume it's more of a novella because it was one of those 2 for the price of 1 things where it was 1 book but had 2 different stories by 2 different authors in it) and in this story, the heroine is a human, the love interest is a gold alien dude, it has erotica in it, and it ends with them celebrating New Year's. I read it when I was a teenager, so it had to have been published in the early 2000's. Thanks!

can’t remember the name of a book about a girl who applied to this fancy private school, and she got in. While she was living there, she uncovered some weird conspiracies. There was a massive cult in the school, that was made up of students and staff. They all wore cloaks and hoods. I think they were pirates? They stole priceless artifacts from museums and sold them on the black market. The girl and her friends had to try and stop the cult. I think it was a series, too.

This definitely reminds me of an ad I saw for one of those apps where you drive the story by making choices but I couldn't find an actual book with that plot, is there anybody out there on Tumblr who knows what this could be?

I read a book way back in middle school whose title, I’m pretty sure, was “Me, Myself, and I” or something to that extent. Vaguely I remember it was set in the past and the main character was a girl who had a sort of love problem with one boy named Dean, who I think ends up joining the army. The problem is, when I search it, nothing comes up that matches anything I’ve read before. Do you think you could help me?

I read these series of books about female historical figures but the books were formatted into having diary entries instead of actual chapters. They all were beige but had a painting of each women the “diaries” were about on the cover. I’ve been trying to find them again for the longe at time but they don’t come up in any google searches I’ve made.

I think that was the Dear America series, I remember reading those when I was in elementary school!

I read a book like 7 years ago about these twins (a boy and a girl) that live through several of grimms fairy tales, but like the original messed up versions (definitely sleeping beauty and Cinderella). I think the boy ends up dying and becoming a crow? Anyway I forgot what it was called and I really want to read it again and would love any help I can get. Thanks!

Hey I'm trying to find a YA graphic novel I used to read as a kid. I think the plot was about three failing private detectives (or maybe bodyguards??) living in the future. The team was a badass woman, a beefy dumb dude and a sarcastic talking animal, I think a rabbit. I think they worked at a table in their friend's restaurant, but one day he goes missing and they have to find him. It turns out he was taken to cook for a villian's 1920's style party?? Thanks!

when i was like, 14-15 i used to read a bunch of like, really bad fanfiction because i thought it was funny and i found one that was about ben drowned x the author’s self insert(or maybe it was x reader???? or an oc???) and shit and all i remember about it is that at some point he says something like “pretty please with xbox 360 and ps4 on top” which is, if i might add, THE FUNNIEST POSSIBLE WORDS ANYONE HAS EVER FUCKING PUT TOGETHER AS A SENTENCE; that i’m pretty sure they already knew and lived with each other at the start of the fic; and that I THINK it was on quotev(this is probably not actually the case).

i’ve been just completely fucking foaming at the mouth trying to find it again for the past like, literally 4 entire fucking years. i’m dead serious. i have combed through every single ben drowned fanfiction on quotev from 2014 backwards multiple times. I didn’t think to save it at the time because of an unfathomably powerful wave of second hand embarrassment i got from reading that absolutely solid gold line and lost it. its been haunting me since then because i never finished fucking reading it.

If anyone somehow miraculously knows the fic i’m talking about about PLEASE please fucking send it to me or tell me if it was deleted or whatever. i think when i first found it it was on the second page of google results so it might have been decently popular.
