Lewis grunted softly as he felt a sudden weight on his chest, blinking the sleep away just enough to allow him to squint in the dark at a suspiciously George-shaped lump under the sheets on top of him.

"George?" He asked, only to pause when George let out a pitiful whine, the younger alpha moving to bury his face in the crook of his neck, inhaling deeply.

Lewis laid there for a long moment, waiting for George to possibly say something, but when he didn't after several minutes, Lewis sighed, one hand coming up to rub his mate's back.

"Are you alright?" He asked, and finally George shifted, sniffling a little.

"Sponsorship duties got out of hand. Too many bad smells." George replied, and Lewis hummed in understanding.

The other alpha had a more sensitive nose than most, and was subject to overstimulation as a result.

"Poor thing. You need me to get you anything?"

"No, just need you. Your scent." George replied softly, already making himself comfortable on top of Lewis, who snorted a bit.

"One would think you'd be tired of smelling anything after the day you had."

"This is different. Now hush and let me nap." George snarked back and Lewis chuckled, moving just enough to place a kiss on top of George's head.

Settling back down, Lewis felt himself start to doze off again to the soft feeling of George breathing against his neck and his calm, relaxed scent.
