Hi again! I hope you've been seeing some awesome Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 content lately (perhaps content that's even largely Gustave);) I was wondering if you want to, and if it's not to trouble at all, if you might make a gifset based on Maelle and Sophie's conversation at the beginning of the game, where I believe Maelle ends it with something like, "See you in the next life." And then maybe pair that with her brining Sophie and Gustave back in the "A Life to Paint" ending? And also, if you want to (though I don't know if you like this ship at all, and if you don't and don't want to do this, that's totally fine!) a shipping gifset with Sophie saying that Gustave and Lune would make a cute couple, and then some nice scenes with them? Thank you so much for even considering these:) I hope you've been well!

So small custom uv lights for curing resin inside the models are giving me strong 'potato server' energy. xD

At least Clea & Francois look cool with them inside heh

And yeah, I also printed Gustave's hand in 4 parts...

Also got my 6 mm metal rod for Maellum rapier, it will be way more parts than 6 in the end, because the curvative got fucked fresh off the build plate & I made it sturdier and reprinted. But now I've actually ordered a small brass rod & maybe my dad can bend it into the shapes I need. I'd like the rapier to be as resilient as possible, and having those handle curves be plastic, even like 5-7mm plastic, doesn't really scream 'resilient' to me.

idk that rapier kebab looks funny to me for some reason, too, I'm probably just going slightly insane. But yeah, I feel like for a prop 102 cms in length while rather slim otherwise... you'd want it to have max durability. That and Gustave's hand are the biggest things I've attempted to date, so I'm kind of curious how they'll turn out in the end with my turtle-like working speed

I've already shown you Hel's crown the other day, but I've also made some progress with the crown for Aemond, and I'm basically stuck with lace for my lower dress, because I don't like how any of the bunch I bought look on it, will look for other options tomorrow & if I don't find any, some of those I have will have to do. I mean, it's still gotta look better than what came with the costume from lining fabric & sequins, so I'm probably just being extra perfectionist as per usual.

Super sad there's no access to rocks and water from the con anymore. :(

Helaena crown is almost done. I did fuck up trying to make the details look worn out, they were the perfect matching gold color before, but ah well, too late now. :( I am so not reprinting, sanding and painting them again...

I do kinda like it more than the original, tho.

I usually can't even fit two pieces of a blade together seamlessly, and if this print doesn't fail, it's two prints of freaking six !!! parts

I thought I could get away with one build plate, but by cutting the blade in 4 parts, they were exceeding my build height juuust a little. :(

Gun for Sylus myth is so??? It gave me whiplash trying to get it ready for printing, like to sculpt in the details I had to subdivide so much the model ended up being a whooping 1 Gb+, so like, blender straight up froze trying to limited dissolve even in parts or cut. 3D builder wouldn't even load it. After literal days of trying, I just fed it to chitubox as is, run repair in it, somehow fit it in at 23 cms height AND I'M IN LOVE AHHHHHHH

At this point, you should know I love my blades and guns for cosplay lmao.

Also chibi Mephie is so cute!!!

And yeah, a bunch of Clair Obscur printing going on as well. Painted Alicia's mask is a little too big for me, but I'm not sure if I'll try reprinting since I mostly wanted it just to sort of... Hold it for the shots, not wear it so... idk idk. If I don't get more failed prints along the way Esquie bowed out, I might.

And I just love that candle for some reason idk

Accidentally ripped off the figurine base I specifically added to the burgeon while getting rid of its last supports welp. Don't even know how to go about the Obscur supports since I'll probably just rip off every detail along the way 😂

Still need to figure out what to do with Mephie head and body metal parts, because even chitubox hates it and will probably fail the print. Ah well, I've got a couple more 9 hour prints ahead to figure it out.

So I have a surgery scheduled for June 16th

And tomorrow is the deadline for a con I wanted to take HOTD to. We're gonna be submitting just Helaemond since my Alicent friend dropped out, so I'm not sure if we'll be accepted or not, but fingers crossed?

Then until the end of the week I have a bunch of 3D printing to do unless my 3D printed is dead which... I'm not sure about since there was a leak. :( Will try to post a couple of mods inbetween that...

But yeah, overall I'm just multitasking af atm and barely have time for anything inbetween all that, working, and getting everything ready for surgery

so I'm bleeding again but as in. full on bleeding this time. I was literally at the doctor's appointment, in a hospital. and they offered to call an ambulance for me to direct me to another shitty hospital, and I just refused. 4 days of one and checking out with an 'improvement' was enough for me.

I legit went through some bureaucracy hell these past couple of weeks to get attached to this specific hospital to get the surgery for free, and they can't hospitalize me on the spot with a bleeding.

fuck this.

at this point if I bleed to death, guess I die ah well. I'm too tired.
