"Okay hold on." Winn spoke as he paused. "Let me start over then, but pay attention this time because explaining the entire Star Wars universe is already a lot. But you throw in the novels and it's like an entire new branch."

"Wait - - - what?" He hadn't even heard a single word his father had said to him, he's just staring blankly at Winn now. "Can you repeat that? Sorry, my brain wasn't turned on." Ricky admits.

Winn looked between Sarah and the man who had been talking. Both of them were blaming the other, saying that they had done this to him. They had taken his memories. The problem was that Winn didn't know who to believe, despite the fact that his gut was telling him to trust Sarah. But his mission had been to bring Sarah in, to get justice for what had been done for him.
At her words he stood frozen, looking up at her for a moment as he tried to glance at the man. See his reaction to what she had just said. The man didn't move much, or say anything. Instead was silent as he stepped closer to the two of them.
"You can't believe her Agent Schott." He bit his lip as he looked over at her. Closing his eyes for a moment as he tried to figure out the truth. The man's face looked familiar. He had seen it when he was rescued. He gave him his mission, told him who his handler was. The memory mixing with another, Winn looking at him straight on for a moment longer.
It wasn't a rush of memories, more like a small picture. Winn tied to a chair, the man in front of him holding pictures that he knew would cause him to flash. Telling Winn that this was for the best, Winn screaming in pain as the Intersect ran hotter and faster with each flash. He stood a little straighter as he looked back up between them.
"Y-you forced me to flash." He spoke softly as he looked back up. "I remember." Taking a small step back towards Sarah, Winn found himself needing to put distance between them. "You kept me locked up, tied to a chair while you triggered flashes. I asked you to stop, and you told me it was for the best. That it was better this way."
She knows that this is all damage control. This ends one of two ways for her. She's locked in a cell for the rest of her life, or she meets an early grave. They can't have her walking around topside with everything that she knows. So if she's going down, why not bring everything down with her? Dropping a lit match has never really been her style, but she can make an exception this time. Because even if it condemns her, it may very well save him. And she's okay with that trade off.
"Because you don't want him to know what I know." She says, turning her attention back towards Winn. A man's voice cuts out over hers, telling Winn that he should leave. Trying to get this under control without too much damage. Even though she's sure Winn will forget everything she's about to say him before too long.

"They did this to you. They put the Intersect in your head before it was operational. They stole your life, the person you were before it was uploaded. And then, when it failed, they started to erase you. They removed you from the minds of people who cared about you."
She may not remember loving him, but she knows enough about him to know he's a good person. Someone who deserves better than this. And maybe, hopefully, he'll be able to cling to some of what she's saying even as the Intersect eats away at his memory.
Then she turns back to the table. "You took something from me. And when I tried to get it back I threatened your narrative. So you sent him to find me. You lied to him about what we were to each other. All so you could put me in the ground for a mistake you made."
