So the world is fucked, corporations and rich people dont care and wont stop fucking the dead corpse of our planet until they have reached their goal of being the worst person to ever live, and when my reaction is depression and suicidal thoughts I am insane for that?

When the politicians in Germany care more about Genderverbot and filling their pockets with lobby money than the very real effects of climate change that we are experiencing right this second, flooding of cities, fucking tornadoes in germany???? Crops dying because the dry and wet seasons have gotten so extreme that they could not survive it.

In India it’s 50 degrees celsius, people will die from the heat waves, especially the poor who have the least to do with climate change, and people in comment sections are asking what India does against climate change, asking “do they not deserve the effects of their unwillingness to change for a better climate?” And i can feel their cold hearts through the screen because no, stupidity is no excuse for your lack of empathy. Do you really think the world leaders and politicians who brought this on the people are suffering rn? No of course not. Because they have the luxury of living in their pretend world with air conditioning, private jets and endless supply of water while the people are burning.

And people tell you to go to a therapist for having “extreme” reactions to all of this. How is my reaction extreme? What can the therapist do that will heal the world for me? If they could make it so that i would stop caring about this, i wouldn’t want their help. Being oblivious is worse a response than being suicidal. Yes maybe killing yourself before everything goes to shits is cowardly. And no i wont kill myself, because i know it wont help the situation. But every time the internet feeds me with catastrophes happening all around the world, there is a voice in my head asking me what if we left this all behind. Can we really take more of this? If it only will get worse, why bother doing anything for the future? And i have no answer, just the foolish hope that somehow everything will work out in the end.
