Many years ago, I had come across this quote and instantly wrote it on my arm with the first pen I’ve found next to me. It hit me so strong that I didn’t want to let it slip out of my mind. Just recently, I reread it in the book called ˝Freedom from the known˝ written by Krishnamurti. I wrote it again as a reminder. It has been my mantra for some time now. - Maja

(via How I found my calling: From fruit picker to shelf stacker and finally freelance writer!)  Maybe I was destined to travel far in life; I’ve lived in many different places and worked in various jobs before I was able to find my calling. I was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and at just two days of age, was taken to the Isle of Tiree, where my parents lived. Tiree was my home until I was eighteen and moved back to Glasgow. - Abi Latham

(via From one paradise to another – Connecting with the untamed spirit of Wyoming) I previously wrote about how I found my spot living on the Big Island of Hawaii. I absolutely love it here for many, many reasons. But you might be surprised that people who live in paradise want to leave for vacation. “Island Fever” can be a very real thing. - David Ryerson

(via Finding My Spot Behind the Depths of Words) "It’s funny how every thought you have or decision you have made in the  past creates the person you are today. Every person has their purpose,  goal, aspiration, or accomplishment in their life. It may not feel like  it, but it only hits you when you’re least expecting it. When you spend  hours daydreaming about one specific thing or create something so  perfect without any effort at all. It’s when you lose time in the day  doing and generating what you love. At least, that’s what happened to  me." - Tara

(via Finding my spot in Hawaii) I found my spot, and my spot is in Hawaii. I grew up in Massachusetts, and by the time I was 18, I hated the crowds, the cold, the snow, and the general rudeness of the people. I was fortunate that my family moved to Louisiana, where all of these problems seemed to be gone. We still lived in the suburbs, and they were not quiet as crowded.
