fnaf is such, a fascinating cultural object.
#i remember so vividly watching jse play it when it came out and it was like so wild it was something we thought we had never seen before#like something very new. and i cannot imagine living in the world pre fnaf anymore it feels like this genre has always existed. its#essential. and its developed so many different genres of horror since then#i think the most prevalent one at this moment in time is the camera watching which developed into i’m on observation duty which developed#into the genre of anomaly horror games that is starting to just now fall off#there are also countless mascot horrors and horror games revolving around children and to be VERY clear these of course existed before fnaf#its just that their popularity became so much bigger. and the world of horror games have been affected in every single way by fnaf#anyway. now i really like the music
