Social Media Marketing 101: Stop Procrastinating Once and For All!
Believe it or not, the social media marketing world has now become a reality:
You need to be different and unique to get out of the crowd!
Maybe you’re applying for a scholarship, finding a new job, or doing a charity fundraising… No matter what it is, people need to know and trust you, and the easiest way to do it is to create your own social media marketing strategy!
Tumblr media
Social Media Marketing for Businesses: The ONE secret that is holding you back from getting sh*t done!
You may wonder: What is Social Media Marketing and is it really that important?
“Oh no no,… it’s too complicated for me!”, “I don’t like sharing my personal life, I’m scared!”, or “I don’t know where to start, there are so many social networks sites to create!”
Now what I shared with you might change overtimes, because just like you, I STILL DON’T KNOW how to do any strategic social media marketing correctly and effectively!
But I believe social media is all about Genuine and Authenticity.
Yes, there are ads and marketing websites all over the place, yet this is still where you share and spend time on hobbies, families, and personal stuff…
So what you need to do is not really about taking notes or learning courses (it’s totally crucial, but that’s the next stage of it)
What I’m saying here it’s about you sharing your stories, your activities, and your desires!
So the ONE secret that holding you back from making your social media strategy is no other than NOT TAKING ACTION!
The ONE secret that holding you back is no other than NOT TAKING ACTION! @fourtuneshare
Not only for Social Media Marketing, everything great requires time and massive efforts!
So start rolling your sleeves and get sh*t done, and I’ll walk along with you on this path!
Tumblr media
Why Marketing on Social Media?
Maybe you’re still wondering:
“But would I have to share everything outside the world? That would be so personal and rude, somehow…”
That’s absolutely correct! But remember, this is your marketing for social media, so you don’t have to do all those things.
The main reason you want to invest time on social media marketing websites is to help you be recognized and respected in your field, in your community.
I don’t like Social Media either. But I choose to follow where the attention goes. Dan Lok — The King Of High Ticket Closer
“I don’t get it, what does that mean?” — I’ll explain furthermore to you.
When it comes to Personal Branding, no matter what or where you want to promote, you ALWAYS want to find where the attention gathered.
Because attention gives you the awareness within a certain community (the positive way, of course) and thus, enhance your personal appearance.
Hence, consistently valuable sharing is what you need to invest in your social media marketing strategy!
I’ll show you my personal branding examples below (and you will make for your own, too!)
Step 1: Find your Social Media Marketing’s Ideal Audience
Now you’re ready to kick-off, the first thing you must do first (even before creating any social media sites) is to really understand who your ideal audience is.
A lot of times, even with CEOs or Executives, they seem to be so vague about their targeted audience on social media websites should look like.
And have you ever heard these kinds of complaints like this:
Everyone is our customer!
I want to attract as many as possible leads to this particular campaign.
Ideal customers? Um… anyone who’s willing to buy our product right away!…
But it’s NOT their fault, and it’s not anyone’s fault.
Just remember this: If you’re serving for everyone, no one is your customer!
If you’re serving for everyone, no one is your customer! @fourtuneshare
Also a quick tip before kicking off.
Whether you’re an employee or a freelancer, if you’re in charge of a certain task: Be PROACTIVE and TELL your manager why you do that in the first place!
Business is an intellectual sport. And that requires communication. A lot of it!
Imagine you’re positioned for this task, so there is no reason why they should micro-manage on your expertise.
Therefore, speak up and show them the proofs of your ideas!
Tumblr media
By doing this, they’ll much better understand what you’re doing is in good intention and they’ll be self-reminded about the reason they’ve hired you in the first place.
Make sense? Okay, and here we go!
Crafting your Ideal Audience
When you’re justing getting started, you really DON’T NEED a marketing MBAs or any formal educational certificate at all.
If you’re a solopreneur (you’re doing everything by your own) or if you want to learn and gain more knowledge, start small is always recommended when it comes to attaining skillsets.
Start small is always recommended when it comes to attaining skillsets. @fourtuneshare
[Bottom Line]
To be clear, I’m not any social media marketing guru or expert.
I’m just someone who is willing to persuade you to start getting our sh*t done because quality will eventually improve overtimes.
So it’s up to you to leave from here, but if you’re still believing me: Great, it’s gonna be hell outta ride!
“Picturize” your Ideal Audience Persona
What is a persona?
For short, it’s your customized character with similarities to your ideal audience, in term of personality, hobby, behavior, etc.
You should start with ONE ideal customer, after a while, you can increase your personas and test them more overtimes.
1. What age should they be?
There are 4 main age groups, include:
Adolescent;
Teenager;
Adult;
Elder.
You can be more specific about your persona, depends on the niche and the marketplace (gender, age range, demographic,…)
But this is just your new beginning, so it’s ok to make mistakes and f*cked up, you’ll get good overtimes!
(You can use a note-taking online app or just simply pen and paper to do this exercise with me)
[PRACTICE] — Fourtuneshare’s Age Group:
Teenager. Specifically? College Students and Fresh Post-graduates. Adult. Specifically? Entrepreneurs, Business Owners, Recruiters, or anyone who wants to learn about Internet Marketing.
Tumblr media
You done? Good, you’re doing great!
2. What are their “hidden” pain points?
As a copywriter, I noticed that this easy-but-less-known tip will help you tremendously to identify those:
The “Story-telling” Technique
Now you may hear about this marketing/business term, but again, we don’t want to make it too “savvy-required”.
So if you’re selling some physical product, SaaS (Software as a Service), or Personal Branding (like I do), you have to answer this question CLEARLY:
Why You’re Doing This In The First Place? @fourtuneshare
You see, the social media marketing world is becoming more and more generic now, meaning that your customers can’t separate you from other people in your niche.
As human, we are emotional creatures. Therefore, people are more likely to remember (and buy) from those they like and trust.
And nothing can outrank that more than your unique story-telling!
With this simple technique, you’ll find yourself some pieces to craft a personal-valued story towards your ideal audience
Telling about how you got started is a great way to start and help you define a decent story that already distances you from a bunch of crappy services.
Ideally, 2–3 paragraph is more than enough!
3. Apply Your Story-telling
[PRACTICE] — Fourtuneshare’s Story:
My family is broke. So in my early ages, I had no other ways but working long hours to change our lives. And I realized while I am working relentlessly for my no-money-worries lifestyle, unfortunately, my friends and colleagues don’t: They don’t know what to do next! That’s why I create Fourtuneshare: “Fourtune” symbolizes for Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant, and it’s my “Fourtune” to share with you my experience and mistakes on freelancing and entrepreneurship, so you’ll save your time from making stupid mistakes as I did in my entrepreneurial path. Via Fourtuneshare, I want to show YOU that SUCCESS doesn’t give a shit about AGE:  Self-esteem is the ONLY thing that will lift your life into another level!
Now what you want to do is to take out the terms within the story that your ideal audience may have similarities to (noticed the underlined words)
That will be your ideal customers’ pain points!
[PRACTICE] — Fourtuneshare’s Pain Point Terms:
“no-worries-life”, “don’t know what to do”, “experience and mistakes on freelancing and entrepreneurship”, “save your time”, “success”, “age”
*Tip for Physical Product*
Here’s what I suggest.
Let’s say, Daniel is selling coffee makers, so what he can do is building something like this:
[PRACTICE] Daniel’s Age Group:
Adult — Office Workers
Daniel’s Story:
Remember those massive project that requires your long hours and extra-shifts in office? What did you do? For me, a cup of instant no-sugar double-shot cappuccino could save me from having those deep dreams resulted in me being kicked out of the job, oh man… But waiting for late-delivered cups is annoying! It’s not really about drinking, because it all started with the very 1st second you sniff that mind-blowing caffeine aroma that awakes you all along the way! So why not consider Daniel’s coffee maker? By a blink of your sleepy eyes, your double-shot cappuccino is instantly up front, right away, ready to save your day and hence, lift up your career to another level. Buy now today with a comfort discount of… blah blah blah Daniel — The Coffee-maker Guy
Some sort like that, then you take those terms out as Pain Points:
“long hours and extra-shifts”, “waiting for late-delivered cups”, “mind-blowing caffeine aroma”, “upfront”, “right away”
And now you have your persona’s Pain Points!
Isn’t that fascinating that you’ve done all of this by yourself? Great, I’d that you’re enjoying it!
Tumblr media
If you want to research more on your persona, you can check these in-depth guides here:

Buyer Personas: A Beginner’s Guide for Marketers — Search Engine Journal
How to Create a Concrete Buyer Persona (with Templates & Examples) — OptinMonsters

Step 2: Identify Different kinds of Social Media Marketing Content
Nowadays there are various types of content for social media promotion, includes:
Readable Content: blog post, article, case study, ebook
Listening Content: podcast, recording,…
Visual Content: photo, meme, infographic, graphic design,…
Motion Content: Video, gif,…
Based on your niche or your marketplace, you will compile these content into a “Content Variation” for your social network sites.
But for you and me, as beginners, this is what I would like to recommend you testing with:
One piece of quality and in-depth niche-based Readable Content (blog, article, or case study);
Different types of Visual Content made from that Readable Content (blog cover, infographic, quote pictures,…);
A Youtube video based on that Readable Content;
Short videos that contain meaningful and valuable tips on Instagram;
Turn the video into audio content to create podcasts, etc…
Step 3: Create your own Social Media Marketing “Content Variation”
If you noticed carefully, there are so many Content Variations that can be made from these kinds of content towards your audience.
Once you figured out the correlation between them, your Social Media Marketing will turn into a completely different level!
Let’s see how Daniel — the coffee maker guy can create his own Content Variation.
[PRACTICE] — What Content Variation can Daniel make for his Social Media Marketing?
Self-film a Youtube video on how to make a cup of double-shot cappuccino at the comfort of his own home;
Cut that video into bite-sized tips of making a cappuccino on Instagram;
Take the video and convert it into audio files to create a podcast episode;
Take the video and convert it into written words, then edit to make a new blog;
Create EVERY PIECES of Visual Content for the above material: Youtube thumbnail or Instagram/Podcast/Blog Cover (with illustrations and infographics for blogging)…
Tumblr media
You see how effective and plentiful that can be?
REMEMBER: We’re just getting started, so testing is important, and it can be frustrated at least in the first 3 to 6 months, or even for a year.
But that is Personal Branding and it requires time if you want to build something great and solid.
So what you can do is keep testing and be consistent with your social networks, but always be genuine about yourself!
People admire someone with authenticity, and only being YOURSELF can give you that power!
Once you have been familiar with your Social Media Marketing, you’ll overtime get credited and be considered as “Expert” from your fans and your community.
From no-one to Social Media Marketing Expert: UNBELIEVABLE, right?
But before publishing any kinds of content, it’s necessary to have some base on different kinds of social media sites!
To be continued…

"How I Met Your Mother": 448 Minutes To Complete Sabotage To Success?
Tumblr media
Even though I’m such a big lover of argumentatively one of world’s greatest sitcom of all times “How I Met Your Mother”, until now, I realized something solely for myself from this series,
Something may sound super counter-intuitive:
If you want to be successful financially, “gang-ship” is a piece of sh*t to your life!
BEFORE “How I Met Your Mother”
Before we can go to the argument, “here’s how I met my lesson…”
It was a Friday morning and I woke up pretty late from last night’s work.
Normally, I would go to my favorite café and start kicking the hella the day by working 12+ hours straightforward (except for food and bathroom, etc.)
But something strikes me that day.
The laziness from getting out late eventually stuck me in bed the whole day, in the disguise of “I-promised-to-restart-my-day-again-perfectly-tomorrow-morning-but-for-now-I-gotta-finish-these-episodes-first!”
Looking back has made me realized something that probably has been always holding most of the entrepreneurs’ back to their success:
There’s no such thing as a “perfect day” It’s whether “take action” day or “make excuses” day! Vinh Pham
I realized it’s not the laziness that paralyzed me. It’s the fact that I’m so afraid of getting shit done and continue with new shit that I’ve not to be familiar with.
Maybe it’s an Email Marketing campaign, maybe it’s public speaking, or maybe it’s just simply making a blog…
But THAT is the thing that really holds you back, so don’t ever wait for any “perfect” or “ready” moment.
It only started when you actually stop bitching and start making things happen!
AFTER “How I Met Your Mother”
Sorry for the language :)
So, back to my Netflix-and-Chill thing, I spent over 7 hours watching season 6, STRAIGHTFORWARD!
To be honest, I’m not going to deep into my favorite scene, should Robin marry Ted or Barney or sort of those things…
The point that I want to confess to you: it’s my confession about LOVE.
If you’re a true lover for “How I Met Your Mother”, you’re definitely at least ONE TIME wished to have those likable relationships in your life.
I mean, when Ted told us a story about his “the one”, we’d like to pick our most favorite gal (I choose Zoey first, you sucker!)
Tumblr media
And for me, there was a time that I wanted to be like Ted (some wanted to be Barney, your choices), accidentally bumped into a soul-paralyzing-smile blondie at some animal-saving charity, then having coffee, and so on…
Okay, PAUSE! Did you see something little paranoid here?
You totally get it! I was wasting time waiting that there eventually “the-one” bumped into you, that you’ll find your true love by being patient, that you’ll eventually meet your “fate”…
Here’s my confession: IT’s a fucking waste of time!
Instead of keep jacking off in front of the laptop screen, get your own chance! Vinh Pham
Tumblr media
Go to some workshop, a charity, or a bar,… anywhere
Just don’t stay at home and keep bitching about other guys’ lucky to have their own HIMYM’s (no gals want to hear that either 0emo0)
One more solid proof?
Ted even has to go to strip clubs with Barney just to find his ’s!
So stop BITCHING around and go live your own life!
"How I Met Your Mother": A Complete Sabotage To Success?
So far you’ve heard all of the “bullshit theories” that I made ever since
And maybe you don’t believe those, but I got you here, right?
So please listen to this last one and it may SABOTAGE you badly:
The #1 to financial success: Tell me your friends and I’ll tell you your future! Dan Pena — the 50 BILLION DOLLAR man
“… Does it hurt me?” — You must’ve thought that, right?
I’m a truly big fan of 2 Dan’s work: Mr. Dan Pena and Mr. Dan Lok (you can see more of my profanities here)
So I learned this quote from Mr. Pena:
Tell me your friends and I’ll tell you your future! Dan Pena — the 50 BILLION DOLLAR man
Still not get it? Okay, I’ll explain more to you:
You’re the average of the 5 people that you’ve spent time the most with!
Still not get it? Okay, Ill explain furthermore to you:
Who are your 5 most “hang-out” guys and gals when you need to relax or chill after a hard day?
Still not get it? Okay, I’ll explain even as detail as it can ever get:
Take your most favorite character in “HIMYM” and then try to recall what their lives looked like during the series (full from 1 to 9)
Done? Yes, then how did you see that life AS a successful individual, say, Steve Jobs?
(Now it’s getting confused right? Like “What the fuck are you trying to talk here man?”)
Remember I told you about my #1 financial success tip?
“Yeah, yeah, tell me your friends and I’ll tell you about your future..., SO WHAT?” — you might say
Now if you were Steve Jobs: How did you feel about the life of… Ted Evelyn Mosby?
For real? A Complete Sabotage. Period.
You can have your own word for this one.
My Take-over: For those who want to be rich AND “chilled”…
The reasons why I brought my all-time-greatest-sitcom to this fully misleading sequences because I really want to wake yourself up!
When it comes to creating wealth, it’s not everyone’s dream:
It’s everyone’ desire but barely anyone gets shit done!
Now don’t get me wrong, if you’re happy with what you’re having now (like with the life of Marshall and Lily), then that’s fine, congrats for finding your path!
Tumblr media
But if you’re still bitching (complaining about your shit) about your financial and yet you still do some drinking and “chilling” with your buddies, then it worked!
“What worked?” — you may ask, and I’m appreciative about that…
YOU’RE THE FUCKING AVERAGE OF THOSE 5 BUDDIES THAT YOU LIKED TO BE “CHILLED” WITH!
Just simply ask yourself these similarities:
Does Elon Musk chill out?
Does Jeff Bezos stop?
What has Mr. Pena done for the last 35 years’ length of a lifetime?
I think you'll have the answer for yourself.
And that’s why I realized that maybe this symbolistic “gang-ship” will probably never exists in my life because of one simple reason:
Creating wealth is a FULL-TIME job!
So what I did next?
… So in midnight, I still had 2 episodes left for the whole season completed. Do you know what I do next?
I shut down my Netflix account, take down the app, and sit straight writing those words,
To YOU.
So what’s the movie that makes you initially think you’ve wasted your time watching it, yet you learned something from it eventually?
I know that you might feel confused or even angry at me being such an A-hole about our greatest sitcom, or not.
But I hoped that someone will understand my good intentions…
Anyway, What are your thoughts on (financial) success (and also about “How I Met Your Mother” or other movies?)

Entrepreneurship: Why Work-life Balance is a total BULLSHIT fairy tale?
Tumblr media
For those who want to get out of their rat race and live a kick-ass life:
"Work-life balance" has been and always will be a total "fucking bullshit" fairy tale that you've ever heard of!
How this fairy tale is made?
Sorry for the language, but that's the fact!
Nowadays, it's not too hard to see those glamorous pics of what an "Entrepreneurial Life" should look like:
Big houses. Nice cars. Endless vacations. What-ever-I-want lifestyle...
And you reflected it to your life:
Wake up. 9-to-5. Go home. Hang out and chilling. Go home. Sleep. Repeat the cycle.
Tumblr media
And you started to wonder:
How can I have a life like them?
How can I make more money but also spend time doing what makes me happy?
How can I find the balance between my business life and my personal one?
Therefore, I think that's how the term "Work-life Balance" was born.
Why a bullshit fairy tale?
Now you may think that I'm such a dick who wants to brag you on how to live your own life.
Maybe that's the case (and a sincere apology if I really am)
But I think I do it for a good reason:
Because I used to think like you.
Back then, I used to be extremely addicted to the idea of a life where I would work on daytime - relax on midnights - get salaries - settle down - enjoy life - get retired..:
A happy life without any worries of money!
And that's the thing make this concept a complete bullshit fairy tale: MONEY.
Tumblr media
When it comes to money, as a natural sense, always come up with bad impressions on it:
That money is the root of all evils
That rich people are so greedy and needy
That instead of chasing money, you should do what you love and money will automatically come.
Eventually, where are you at the moment in life?
It's not about Work-life Balance. Instead, find your life priority!
You know, in life we have 4 main things that we are so grateful for:
Family;
Friends;
Work;
Health.
But do you know what separates one successful individual from the crowd?
The main difference, I believed, is about THE ONE THING (or two) that they are solely focused on!
Have you known the 80/20 rule?
20% of execution will lead to 80% of its outcome.
So if that's the thing the rich and successful (and also happy) are focussed on, why shouldn't we?
So what is the thing that you want to (and you should) concentrate on?
In my opinion, in any circumstances, health and work should be your priorities at the beginning.
What I've Learned About Highly Successful Figures (and you SHOULD either)
I've 2 people that I especially looked up to, and both of them named Dan (I guess you've already known them, right?)
Yes, indeed they're Dan Lok and Dan Pena.
Due to copyright policy on "Image", I can give you the picture of these mega-successful entrepreneurs
(Highly recommend you to understand and learn their work via Youtube channels: Dan Lok & Dan Pena)
And the similarities that I noticed between these 2 gentlemen (and also with other successful figures) that is they are super ruthless about their outcomes!
The similarities between successful figures are that they are super ruthless about their outcomes! - @fourtuneshare
Mr. Lok is well-known for his background as an English-flunked immigrant, whereas Mr. Pena is famous for his solid and strictly disciplines, both in business and in lifestyle, as a former military man.
And I noticed the main element to become a high-performed man (or woman) that you must be thoroughly dedicated to your goals!
To make your dream A REALITY.
That's why I believed that unless you're willing to make sacrifices (my case is family and friends), you'll never stand a chance of being "comfortable" in your life afterward.
Meaning that putting long hours and tremendous, non-stop efforts in order to make your dream comes true no matter what cost needed to be paid (but be genuine and legal please)
Fourtuneshare's Philosophy - What is Work-passion Balance?
But sometimes, I gotta admit, being work, work, and only work is somewhat frustrated and stressful.
To conclude, as human beings, we are much more emotional than logical.
And of course, I'm not supporting for any kind of any hustle work or being a workaholic.
But what I meant is that you gotta find something that could positively relax you during your game.
What do I mean positively? It means that you should integrate your business into something that you're passionate about.
It could be music, books, or any kinda sports.
For me, my “healthy relieves” are basketball and (guess what) Tom-and-Jerry cartoons :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because, in order to be successful, as I mentioned earlier, you have to take a certain price in exchange for your ideal life.
Apart from that, finding something that could relieve you in short-term and could get you ready right away is fundamental for your own race.
What I actually do
What would I like to do is getting fully focus on work for most of the day, but with 2 small breaks in between.
One for basketball break. The other for a few small episodes of cartoons.
Getting fully focus on work for most of the day, but with 2 small breaks in between: One for basketball break. The other for a few small episodes of cartoons. - @fourtuneshare
And for you, it could be anything.
A weekend movie. A guitar concert. Book Club. Swimming lessons, etc.
The possibilities are simply "endless"!
As long as they are healthy relieves (not any smoking or alcoholic-related)
Finding your PHILOSOPHY!
So that's simply my story and I'm excited to hear yours!
Ponder on this massive Dan Lok's advice:
Get money out of your way!
No matter what your scenario is, there is one thing that you definitely gonna goin' through:
Putting the long hours with massive efforts in order to get sh*t done.
So what will you do to make your LIFE a truly happy-ending fairy tale?
