Sometimes I’ll be drawing a character w/ more curvy proportions or revealing clothing and the inner cringe/“Christian private school” kid in me will start yelling about how Im using anime proportions that are unrealistic and half the time are only there for fanservice which is gross and dumbs down female characters to just their bodies- and you’ve gotta grab the mental broom and remind yourself that these are your ocs, your rules. And also that drawing an oc with unrealistic proportions doesn’t really matter as long as you realize that they are unrealistic, don’t make a huge deal out of it, and they have a personality outside of their body.

So if I want to draw a female oc whose fucking 7+ft tall, built like a brick shithouse, and with one piece proportions I am free to do so.
