Is anyone else like really not excited about the news of the London map? I’m honestly kind of disappointed about it, as I was really hoping for nation OTHER than Britain or France getting more spotlight like the Russians did in the most recent update, St. Petersburg. I’m also kind of bummed about Jutland but completely understand why we’re not getting it.

Maybe I’m just biased and sad that the Germanic nations don’t get any content 🥲

Anyways I don’t have much recent art so take some that’s a bit older, this is Jonas Ebner, my Austrian priest.

Saint Petersburg confirmed hallucinations caused by the blight. This is a doodle exploring how my Russian nurse would appear to her friend. Having been infected, Verusha, my nurse, chose to take care of herself. Preventing the infection, yet leaving a gruesome sight for others to find. And now, her bloodied shadow haunts Sonya, a Russian Vivandièr infected.

A follow up to

I’ll finally drop a bit of lore for this lass.

At the age of fifteen, Astra Ilse von Mendorff was engaged to a Prussian officer. Her father having spent most of the past year in Austria, Astra is unable to contest her sudden engagement and is promptly slapped across the face by her grandfather. This was the final straw, the verbal abuse, the ridicule, the rules and now physical punishment for voicing her opinion. She hated her home, she hated the estate, she hated her grandfather and loathed her father who was so busy mourning her mother that she and her elder brother were a second thought. Her elder brother had fled to the military and she’d soon join him. Through a rash decision she had cut her hair and ran away, joining the Bavarian infantry. From there she’d travel to Hanau and Frankfurt, and is met with the blight for the first time.

Just need to draw her 1814 to 1815 design and then I have her reference finished for artfight.

I think, or at least hope, I’ve been getting more consistent with Astra/Lorenz’s features.

Hey! I hope you don't mind this, but a little while back I made an attempt at a portrait of one of your GNB ocs Astra/Lorenz. I'm not exactly happy with how what I made turned out, but I thought you might like to see it anyways, so I put a few quickly "polished" drafts here. I really enjoy seeing your characters, I can tell you have an appreciation for the setting/time and everything, and I really admire it. I'd love to more about your characters sometime and I hope you are well!

Laszlo, my uniquely infected hussar and his unofficial daughter. She began following him sometime during Tyrol, noticing the cannibals would avoid him she deemed the captain safe. He’s uneasy about her presence, he knows she’d be safer amongst the soldiers but she refuses to leave his side.

Trying to be more consistent with faces.

This oc in particular I felt needed a study around her face as her design changes drastically throughout story. A young noblewoman who ran off and joined the military under a disguise. Astra, or her better known ‘name’ “Lorenz”

Ironic how she cared for the priest as his eyesight failed. Yet now in the rare chance she would survive, she would no longer see.

Apologies if the French is rough, it’s not a language I know well. This is my priest, Father Andre Garnier and the nun who acted as his aid, Phoebe Lavigne. Albinism can cause a number of complications but for Andre, his eyesight is worsening. By Roscoff he is mostly blind.
