This mom on tiktok made a video suggesting that if parents are tired of the terribly annoying music that’s set to these videos aimed at little kids that they should just put the videos on their TV and put it on mute and then play their own music over it because it will usually match the beat. People responded by suggesting songs for which this could not possibly work and I cannot stop thinking about this video in particular

Both Wishes and Punishments are on a small 7x10 watercolor pad, so they're not very big, which is why I did them as a sort of flash sheet. Each are based on @karebearotome 'Twelve Gods of Christmas', definitely give these ones and her other stories a read. 🖤

The banner words are readable only when against their opposing face, since I feel that we sometimes say yes when we mean no, and no when we mean yes, when we're feeling pressured or nervous about the possible reactions and responses we can get for leaning one way over another.

I have a whole style series I've dubbed my 'Banner Girls' and as such, they have always been girls as the subject matter.

First time making them into 'Banner Boys'(?) I have all 12 of the gods ready and they will be completed alongside their genderbent mermaid counterparts. 🌟🧜🏻‍♀️ I hope you guys find them cute.

I.... I kinda blew up. Been working on 14 pieces at the same time today.

Working alongside the mermaids with my banner ones at the same time just makes it easier since I have the colors made up for each God and can kill two birds with one stone. Next mermaids coming up are Lou and Karno. 🧜🏻‍♀️🌟
