I may not get a lot for interaction with my fics, but for anyone who reads my stuff, I hope you know my entire face lights up and I audibly squee or gasp whenever I get the emails saying I have kudos or comments. Y'all have no idea how much that means to me.

I feel shame that my writing isn't where it used to be, thanks to brain fog and neurological issues that seem to grow each year. So those little gestures mean all the more to me now than they did a few years ago when I was writing work for other fandoms. It tells me that it's still worth it, even if I feel like it isn't.

If playing bg3 has taught me anything, it's that a lot of people don't know the difference between Magiatrates and Lawyers.

Astarion says he used to be a magistrate in the city. Not a lawyer. He wasn't the one speaking to a judge on behalf of someone, HE WAS THE JUDGE.

The definition of magistrate is a civil officer or lay judge who administers the law, especially one who conducts a court that deals with minor offenses and holds preliminary hearings for more serious ones.(literally copy and pasted that definition from the dictionary)
