I haven't forgotten about the High School AU fic tho it fits more as a Mafia AU storyline of sorts because there are some mafia-related storylines here. Here is a snippet of the next chapter. Once again Zoro does the narration.

I guess I was sort of lucky. Mihawk, my dad kept me out of the loop of the dark underbelly that was the mafia underworld for years. Sure, I knew what the old man got up to but minded my business. I never wanted to get too mixed up with the nasty lot in that world.

Or at least that was what I told myself. Until Sanji walked into my life. Stupid sexy Sanji. That day I first saw him was extra special. I also remember the exact date; September 15.

I remember how everyone stopped and starred as Sanji walked down the hallway, ignoring everyone in the process. He was oozing of confidence and why wouldn't he? He was a lot hotter than I was. His choice of outfit reeked of sheer audacity and rebellion. We are talking about long T-Shirts, ripped leggings and boots with a lot of bling and some dark eyeliner. He looked like he was one of those rockstars.

He was silent too. Mostly kept to himself. Like the guy never spoke. Legend had it that some guy ripped his tongue out because he got close to a girl he liked. Not helping was that none of the kids knew who he was.
