This blog exists for sharing ideas regarding the brilliant Foyle’s War series. It is not officially affiliated with Anthony Horowitz or the cast and crew of FW. Submissions to Foyle Confessions, anonymous or otherwise, will not be posted if they are obscene, profane or abusive; however, I certainly believe in free speech and all posts will be considered without bias. Essentially, if D.C.S. Foyle would not tolerate it, then neither will I and it will not appear on this blog. Submissions will cover all the episodes broadcast thus far, so if you have not watched the entire series this blog will contain spoilers. Also, if you are submitting a very precise confession, I would appreciate it if you could include what episode and specific character you had in mind. For example, if you mention a tired factory worker who talks to Foyle, I will have no idea what situation you are referencing and subsequently may not post your submission. I think that Foyle’s War is one of the best TV series in existence and I look forward to sharing opinions & thoughts about it with all of you. I am also very excited for Series 8 that will likely be broadcast next year!

Hello Dear Followers of Foyle Confessions

I have been away from tumblr for awhile, so please pardon the recent lack of posts.

I shall sort through the new submissions as soon as possible, so you can all look forward to some more Foyle's War on your dash in the next few days.

Also, I'd like to thank each and every one of you for following this blog. Since I started Foyle Confessions in February (amazingly almost two months ago!), with the thought that Foyle ought to have it's own dedicated tumblr blog, it's continued to grow at a slow but steady rate and I greatly appreciate all of the intelligent Foyle thoughts & comments you kindly send my way.

So let's all press on in anticipation of Series 8 and with nostaligic regard for Foyle.
