Ice type Gordie design

This is Gordie as an Ice type trainer, since that was the kind of pokemon he used before he switched to using rock type pokemon. Not gonna lie, if they were to ever remake sword and shield I think it would be cool if you could get an old league card showing him before he became a rock type trainer, just like how Piers has one of himself when he was younger. Perhaps Melony gives it to you as a bit of blackmail, who knows… Their shared backstory is really interesting to me, it actually kills me that they don’t explore it more the games. (Same goes for the other characters really).

I’ve always thought that all colours were as equally as good as one another, but orange has really been speaking to me lately. Orange is underrated and deserves more love. (A bit like Gordie, perhaps that why they’re so well suited together).

Also including this older design of him. In this version I removed his yellow hair streaks (some think they’re genetic but I prefer to think that he purposefully dyed his hair that way as a sign of rebellion before abandoning ice types fully), and tried to add the blue streaks Melony has in her hair to make them look more similar. However I think it removes some of his recognisability, so in the new version I decided to re-add them and change a few other small details as well.

This is Sygna suit Gordie and Togedemaru! I thought these two would be a cute combo to put together because they look similar and have similar colour schemes! I’ve also noticed that fans who aren’t familiar with the sword and shield game frequently mistake Gordie for an electric type trainer, so I thought it would be funny to give him one. I imagine he wears this when he doesn’t want to get noticed in public.

Normal/Flying

This boisterous Pokemon has a habit of finding the tallest place possible and then releasing its birdsong (much to the dismay of anything with ears). Underneath its smug exterior though it is an afraid little bird that suffers under its own expectations. This Pokemon can often be found with Noemals.

Ultranerdly

Electric/Fighting

Somehow even more self absorbed than before, Ultranerdly prides itself on being cool and powerful. It is incredibly loyal to its own detriment but under pressure it’s more than willing to change its tune.

Noelmal

Normal/Ice

This Pokemon is shy and is quite anxious around others. It’s also absolutely terrified of Tandemaus. Despite this it is a very caring and kind Pokemon and it enjoys helping its trainer. Its saintly patience allows it to be good freinds with Nerdlys.

Noeerie

Ice

This once kind Pokemon is now completely emotionless. It will do anything in pursuit of getting stronger and never questions its trainer. Even against those it once considered friends, it doesn’t recognise their faces and whips up fierce blizzards to attack them with.

Bruisie

Dark

A temperamental Pokemon which struggles with getting along with others. When no one is looking, it likes to snack on chalk.

After spending a lot of time with its trainer this Pokemon can become a good ally. It’s powerful punches are really a force to be reckoned with.

Rasliel

Grass/Dark

This Pokemon lives in the dark and likes to disguise itself as a tree to avoid predators. When safe it’ll remove its disguise and heal any wounds it may have.

Klara and Nihilego sync suit design

After arriving to Pasio, Klara decides to film a music video at the beach to promote her brand… and the island too, I guess. However, whilst filming she encounters something truly out of the ordinary, a Nihilego! After befriending the beast she’s sure that it’ll help her rise to stardom, let’s hope it works out!

The gymleader designs for sword and shield are genuinely some of my favourites in the franchise! I'm actually surprised I haven't posted any artwork of them yet.

The text in Galarian says "Shining Star whisky, 40% alcohol, brewed in Motostoke" and as you can probably guess it's meant to be an in universe advertisement for whisky.

Sync suits for Tabitha and Shelly! (Shelly and Huntail, Tabitha and Elgyem)

Alt version and some headcanon stuff under the cut

Initially I created these designs with the intention of them being fanmade sync pairs for Pokemon masters ex (Shelly and Huntail, Tabitha and Eglyem), with the premise that the two dress up as Pokemon professors to steal data but end up constantly running into each other and foiling each others plans, however they’re also intended to be hypothetical designs for what Tabitha and Shelly would’ve looked like before joining Team magma/Team aqua based on some personal headcanons and what we know of their backstories in game.

The reason Tabitha is based on deoxys is because I like to think he once saw it and became obsessed with extraterrestrial life before he became more mature and focused. Because of his love of space, his team was once made up of Pokemon like elgyem and magnezone, hence the sync pair pairing (and also because they gave deoxys to Steven already) which he eventually switched out once he became an admin.

The Magma suit and Aqua suits used in the delta episode were made through the collective work of their respective teams, but I like to think it was something he and Shelly were working on together with the hope that they could potentially find Jirachi and deoxys again before they left Devon corp to work as admins, taking their own copies of the initial blueprints with them. Despite their rivalry, I think they’d sometimes compromise to share stories with one another about their encounters with strange Pokemon like Jirachi, and when working together they’d produce great results.

The reason Shelly has a Huntail is because she enjoys diving and perhaps picked up a clampearl or two when she was younger which eventually evolved. Underneath her trousers and lab coat she’s wearing a diving suit, and after work she’d go for a swim with her huntail to let off steam. Another reason why I gave her huntail as a partner is because I think it’s a missed opportunity to not have the admins use more varied Pokemon to set them apart from regular grunts. Huntail fits Shelly perfectly, showing off her more brutal side, but also plays more into her intelligence by having her vary up her team to throw the player off guard.

These are my Ocs, they’re a group of treasure hunters that are also a band. They like to travel and beat up criminals (Well three of them do, one of them is trying to stay on track) but that doesn’t mean that they don’t do mundane things too.

Some head canon stuff below…

Maxie doesn’t get any chocolates on valentines, but it’s fine because he’s not really a fan of them. If you were to buy him some though, caramel or other rich chocolates would be fine and if you’re feeling particularly generous Liquor chocolate would also be greatly appreciated. Sniff… Only hypothetically though… sniff…

Tabitha is well liked and gets chocolates from everyone in the office. He’s not super picky but has a soft spot for anything coffee flavored and quite likes dark chocolate. Tabitha finds himself sharing most of his chocolate with Maxie during meetings.

Courtney gets the same packet of white chocolate on valentines every year from one of the lower ranking grunts, but prefers sweets. She really likes anything strawberry flavored, but gets really picky with the brands.

Archie doesn’t really like chocolate but appreciates the gift anyway and will happily share it with his crew, especially if some people didn’t get any valentines at all.

Shelly loves chocolate. If you give chocolate to Matt or Archie, chances are most of it will end up with her. She doesn’t eat it very often though, so she’s got a massive stash hidden somewhere. I’m sure no one will notice if a couple of boxes were to go missing, just don’t let her catch you, I’ve heard she gets pretty vicious.

Matt likes chocolate. He mostly ends up with protein bars though from well meaning grunts . If Shelly were more intent with stealing those than his occasional sweet treats he wouldn’t be searching so desperately for that stash of hers… His attempts are often fruitless.
