" Persistent little thing, aren't you? " Agatha practically sneers. Fails to wrench any sympathy from her heart, long turned cold and hardened. Even if Wanda's grief struck a cord inside her, reminiscent of a time long ago.

But Agatha refused to see them as similar. She'd worked hard for every miniscule amount of power she'd gathered, Wanda had it handed to her in what – a little bottle? Even if someone inside her naturally aided it, they were not the same. Never would be.

" That's life sweetheart. Plans fall through, life gets uprooted, you start again. Circle of life – literally. " Agatha snorts, a long shiny nail pushing dark waves over her shoulder. Lips twist into something more neutral as icy hues regard Wanda – the defeated state the redhead had been reduced to.

It should have felt like winning. Agatha had gotten what she wanted, Wanda's little charade had fallen through. All's well that ends well. So why was she still here? Hesitating, continuing to speak to the Scarlet Witch.

" It was never going to last. This little small town, suburban family set-up. You know that, right? Westview wouldn't have stayed your little secret forever. Especially not with everything that's happened... I mean really, Wanda, you should have been more prepared for this." And there was that BITE, the icy snark that kept everyone else at arm's length. Agatha didn't want to give Wanda the wrong idea. They weren't friends, weren't allies. Barely even neutral, honestly.

Ah, ambition. It was rare to find any witches that held that same fire, let alone young ones. Being a witch, magic in general even, had become a gimmick. A Halloween costume, teens playing with tarot cards, musicals. It was all seen as something fun, whimsical. It made her nauseous.

Agatha herself had never let her ambitions slip. Not even after she had taken her purple away – didn't take her long to get it back. Now, she still wasn't big on the whole coven thing – her affiliation with the other witches she'd walked the road with was simply for convenience... and because Teen wouldn't stop yapping about them.

So when one of them sent this girl her way, Agatha had been sceptical. She wasn't interested in becoming some sort of tutor or mentor. But the girl's interest in power caught Agatha's attention. Made her wonder how far she'd go, what she'd do for power.

" It's perfectly natural, my dear, " she uses that sickly sweet tone, arms folding across her chest as she regards Hannah with piercing eyes. " That's what being a witch is about – growing, learning, aiming above your abilities. How do you think I became so infamous? " Agatha smirks, chin jutting upwards.

" I'm assuming spells are new to you. What area of magic do you focus on? " Agatha prays the teen doesn't say tarot. Nothing against Lilia or her trade, it saved them on the road, but Agatha couldn't help but find the whole area boring. Divination held no interest to her. " That'll help us know how far above your level this spell is. "
