them trying to share clothes would be so good and also so funny because i feel like. john is so long and skinny that if sol tried to wear any of his clothes he’d just bust out of them but all of sol’s things would be way too short on john.

idk how it would work in terms of canon timeline here but i have been struck by the image of john, overworked and exhausted, falling asleep somewhere and sol finding him - maybe in the orlop? he’s tucked away in a corner and sol can’t bring himself to wake him up, not when he looks so soft and so exhausted and so young, but he drapes his jacket over john to try to keep him warm and keeps an eye out for him for a while so he can nap.

consider also if you will, a modern au version of this: john and sol are very newly seeing each other and john is NOT out at work, but he ends up crashing at sol’s one night and wakes up to pouring rain the next day and has to borrow one of sol’s jackets to go to work in. he spends all day SURE that someone’s going to notice but literally no one does.
