i honestly still cannot believe that i make hairs for this silly little game because i thought it would be so impossible for me to do so (as i said in my mariela post) and here i am 9+ hairs later (and even more in the works). it makes me so excited and proud to see my progress in the different hairs i make as it has gotten easier to navigate blender and gimp now. even tho i have learned so much and feel more confident in my cc making skills, there’s still so much i need and want to learn as there’s so many more black hairstyles i wanna make that are still outta my current skill set. hopefully, i can eventually make at least 40-50% of the hairs i have saved on my pinterest board. i also wanna make cc that is specifically for fat sims (maybe poses, body presets, skin details???) so here’s to so many more months of saturngalore cc! 🥂

i want to thank everyone that downloaded and used my cc in their games, edits, and/or lookbooks! i still cannot believe it whenever someone tags me or i see my hair in a cc haul youtube video (like wtf??!). im so happy to know that so many people like my cc and i hope that y’all will like my new hairs for 2024! last but not least, i also want to thank everyone who took the time out their day/week to load up their games, make such amazing edits and sims highlighting my hairs, and gave me such valuable feedback all to test my hairs!! it really makes me tear up from all the support and love that i have received so far and i will be forever grateful for all of you!! 🫶🏾

i love it when people refer to palestinian genocide as “political stuff” bc yet again it implies it’s just this niche political subject that not everyone’s entitled to discuss and shed light on. it’s yet another form of self-soothing so people don’t feel guilty for not engaging in a conversation they should engage in—that or they truly don’t give a shit, which a lot of people on here don’t and aren’t ashamed to show it. i can’t believe i even have to spell this out, but the moment civilians started getting liberally massacred in the most gruesome ways, it stopped just being “political stuff.” this shouldn’t be something you just get to escape from because you don’t feel like engaging in politics. innocent people are dying. and when i say people, i mean mostly children.

to the simblrs who have been the most active on here and have not said or reblog a single thing about palestine, why should i care about your edits, gameplay or storytelling when you cant even spare a couple minutes out your day to care about and help palestinians? the simplest thing you could do is to just reblog or share resources, data, news updates, and/or call to protests/boycotting????? you don’t even have to look at graphic images to be able to show that you have an ounce of empathy/compassion and a sense of solidarity to palestinians who share a similar anti colonial struggle to the various other marginalized groups across the globe. i was there when police brutality incidents were at their peak and it burned me out as i watched so many black people die very brutal deaths but that has not stopped me from caring about what goes on in palestine when they have expressed solidarity with african americans numerous times despite the 75 years of suffering and displacement. simply ignoring this and staying silent especially when you have thousands of followers while you post about what your sims had for breakfast is beyond disgusting and may you never know peace in your life ever again
