ABOUT ME AND THE BLOG!
Hi, I'm Francine Mission a 16-year-old senior highschool girl with a some huge heart for movies, also with comics, books, just all those fairy tales we can dive ourselves in to. I love to watch movies and also the different elements of movies where in I indulge myself and sometime get lost with the movie. With my love of watching movies I also love sharing my insights, comments and thoughts with some people especially the closest friends I watch movies with. I love commenting about how this shot was taken, that kind of cinematography, those epic plot twist and all of those. So I really hope you can SPOT some good movies I share with my insights.

BRAVE (2012)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Brave is a 2012 American computer-animated fantasy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It was directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman and co-directed by Steve Purcell. The story is by Chapman, with the screenplay by Andrews, Purcell, Chapman and Irene Mecchi. The film was produced by Katherine Sarafian, with John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, and Pete Docter as executive producers. The film's voice cast features Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Robbie Coltrane, Kevin McKidd, and Craig Ferguson. Set in the Scottish Highlands, the film tells the story of a princess named Merida who defies an age-old custom, causing chaos in the kingdom by expressing the desire not to be betrothed.
This movie maybe is my most favorite, not only because Merida is my forever spirit princess because it is so much full of love and bravery. That for me I most appreciate as I grow older. How important love and bravery is. It also shows how a mother's love can do anything for her children and family. Merida and her mom Elinor was changed in this journey from doubts, repelled and miscommunication to love and acceptance and understandings like how most mother and child want. Also one thing that captures my attention in this movie is it's very good Scottish accent. Since I am very curious about accents back then and my mother enrolled me with those accents and english classes. Since then Brave became my favorite movie and I can now speak scottish accent by heart (not really fluent but by heart lol)

TINKERBELL AND THE GREAT FAIRY RESCUE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is a 2010 American computer-animated comedy adventure film and the third installment of the Disney Fairies franchise produced by DisneyToon Studios. and revolves around Tinker Bell, a fairy character created by J. M. Barrie in his play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up, and featured in subsequent adaptations, especially in Disney's animated works. Animated by Prana Studios, the film was produced using Digital 3D modeling. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment on September 21, 2010. Unlike the other films in the series, it takes place entirely away from Pixie Hollow.
For me Tinkerbell is my best friend fairy when I was a little girl, she's the best fairy. And this is only one of the few Tinkerbell movies which taught me a lot of things. Tinkerbell is just a goofy little fairy that taught me how amazing I could be. That my only limit of imagination is myself. That if I want I can fly with pixiedust, live in beautiful flowers and also paint butterfly wings. Even now I believe that fairies do paint butterfly wings though hahaha. I miss tinkerbell movies already! Their last movie was in 2014 with Tinkerbell the Legend of Neverbeast which made me cry a lot. I WANT TO SEE A TINKERBELL MOVIE AGAIN WHOSE WITH ME?

SINBAD: LEGEND OF SEVEN SEAS (2003)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas is a 2003 American animated adventure film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by DreamWorks Pictures, using traditional animation with some computer animation. It was directed by Tim Johnson and Patrick Gilmore from a screenplay by John Logan, and stars the voices of Brad Pitt, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Joseph Fiennes. The film covers the story of Sinbad (voiced by Pitt), a pirate who travels the sea to recover the lost Book of Peace from Eris (voiced by Pfeiffer) to save his childhood friend, Prince Proteus (voiced by Fiennes), from accepting Sinbad's death sentence. The film blends elements from the 1001 Arabian Nights and classical myths.
This movie is quite old, it was released 2003 just a year after I was born. But I really liked this movie growing up also of course with El Dorado: City of Gold and all of those. Not only it shoves good graphics but a very nice story with UNEXPECTED AMAZING twists. It tells you not only a lot in love but also how solid true friendships and comradery are. I'm just thankful I came up growing up with these movies how wonderful.

BLACK PANTHER (2018)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Ryan Coogler, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole, and stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa / Black Panther, alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. In Black Panther, T'Challa is crowned king of Wakanda following his father's death, but his sovereignty is challenged by an adversary who plans to abandon the country's isolationist policies and begin a global revolution.
This movie for me is a representation how beautiful can a people be, outside and inside. For he can be a people of color or from a tribe or raised by not really good people. It is not where he or she is from, it is what the person become. From Michael B. Jordan's role he grew up only wanting revenge for his father and later on for me he became a wonderful person accepting the world.
