Whenever it is convenient for you would you please change the URL of the hyperlink on the Rondo ballot to:

29. The Monster Kid Hall Of Fame
* Ron “The Ghoul” Sweed (deceased) – To many of us, THE TV horror host of Michigan, Ohio AND Toronto Ontario Canada for a good chunk of a quarter century.
* Dave Ivey (deceased) – props master, chief animator for animated segments and on-air talent for horror hosts Ron “The Ghoul” Sweed (The Ghoul Show) and “Wolfman” Mac Kelly (Nightmare Sinema, Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In). Ivey created brilliant puppets for two of the most popular horror hosts of this region, participated in fun productions on-stage and created comics for my own little horror movie fan magazine, Content Abnormal. He was a true Monster Kid from the moment the attending doctors slapped his back side and remained so through his dying days. He participated in the event to honor the life & career of Ron “The Ghoul” Sweed that was held at The Redford Theater, where The Evil Dead had it’s world premiere.
* Buddy Keys of Dearborn Heights, MI – horror host Creepy Clyde on public access TV in southeast Michigan for several years, radio talk show host who dealt solely with the paranormal, horror movies & haunted attractions in southeast Michigan with his show Spooky Talk, still sings in or just outside of Screams Ice Cream parlor in Hell, MI every Halloween season, is a contributor of his “Count Transylvania” comics to my own little Content Abnormal magazine and has also served as on-screen talent for TV Horror Hosts Ron “The Ghoul” Sweed and “Wolfman” Mac Kelly. Keys is without question a true Monster Kid at heart whose decades-long work in celebrating all things horror is undercelebrated.
* Lawson Deming (deceased) of Cleveland, OH. If there’s one horror host who everyone around here, my mom included, has the fondest memories of watching even before Ron “The Ghoul” Sweed really got going it’s Sir Graves Ghastly, who was played by Lawson Deming. Even though his show ended in 1982 (after having started in 1967) you’ll find t-shirts of Deming to this day in record stores across southeast Michigan as if he’s a punk rock icon.
