If you think the classics are boring or “less threatening” you must not have watched them. Horror isn’t just about gore, it’s suspense, timing, and good acting. Any movie can CGI some gory bullshit, but to be able to scare without it is what makes a good movie.

Victor Frankenstein

Told from Igor’s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant’s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Viktor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man – and the legend – we know today.

It is directed by Paul McGuigan and written by Max Landis. Starring Daniel Radcliffe as Igor and James McAvoy as Victor Frankenstein. With the line-up of talent this movie has I can’t help but think it can only be amazing. I think the movie will look to reinvent the old classic story in a new way for the modern day audience.

Hopefully they can change the young demographic’s mind on feeling that the older horror characters are ‘boring’ or ‘less threatening’. -X
