I’m heading back to Singapore today. Will definitely be missing these fabulous colleagues who helped to put together a most comprehensive itinerary for me. Matt even managed to sneak in a tennis session with Meng Hui who is on a business trip to London from Singapore! Our core value being COLLABORATIVE at work! There are many others I met but didn’t manage to take a photo with. Sorry that I have missed you out. Your efforts are much appreciated. May our paths cross again :)

Visited Malmaison Hotel in Oxford yesterday! Malmaison Oxford is converted from an old prison built in the 1850s and the cells are now rooms in the hotel. Definitely one of the quirkiest hotel in the Malmaison chain! I feel so fortunate to be able to visit this hotel :) special thanks to Michael Benster, James Young and the hotel manager, Antonio for bringing me around. We even managed to get a sneak preview of the famed Oxford University! Experienced by Lynn

Have always wanted to watch a musical in London. It’s one of those must do things and I finally managed to catch 42nd Street at the Royal Theatre yesterday night! 😊 Experienced by Lynn

Took a one-plus hour train from London Waterloo to Winnersh Triangle to visit Winnersh Triangle and Chineham Park, two of the five business parks Frasers Property acquired in the UK. They are much larger than I had imagined! Seeing them in person definitely beats seeing them in photos ;) Also attended a meeting with Eilidh McAllister who was my host of the day. Thanks for having me today :)

Got to do a site visit at the new phase with our builders and visit some of the ready built apartments at Riverside Quarter :) My first time on a site visit! All this in addition to a lovely lunch at Riverside Quarter by River Thames :) Thank you Matt Smith and David Skelton!

Visited Malmaison Hotel, Charterhouse Square! Was brought around by Jonathan Livesey, Stephanie and Matthew Condren to visit some of the rooms. Through a presentation by Jonathan, I got to learn more about the thought process that goes into developing the individualistic style of Malmaison Hotels such as how colors and paintings can add style to a hotel. There’s so much more to learn each day.

Central House is a former faculty of London Metropolitan University Frasers Property UK acquired to convert into an office building. It is located just opposite the Whitechapel Art Gallery and 10 minutes away from the city center.

Begin the morning with a lovely goodie bag from my host, Matthew Condren and Emma who brought me around the office for a meet-and-greet session. This was followed by a visit to the previous office of Frasers Property UK. For those who do not know, Frasers Property UK has shifted its office. After the introductions, Matthew had arranged for Seng and Hiten to give me an introduction to the organization structure which gave me a good idea of the overall business structure.

Site visits have also been arranged for the day. Matthew, Jake and Tamiko brought me to our properties at Vauxhall Gardens, Camberwell on the Green and Central House. We ended the day with me being brought to a meeting with our architects for Central House.

Thank you all for your time. I’ve learnt much today :)

Managed to visit Cambridge, home to the world renowned University of Cambridge and its many illustrious alumni over the weekend. Joined a walking tour which brought me around the various colleges and landmarks in Cambridge, including the well-known King’s College, Trinity College and Mathematician Bridge. This university city is so rich in history and I can feel the pride of the people living there. Experienced by Lynn
