The injury on his head is a staple of the CowDudes. In P1 CowDudes case, it was from an incident on a ranch he used to work at. CowDude worked at a ranch on the outskirts of Paradise that primarily catered to horses used for herding. He was a normal guy that was good at his job that had a great rep for his horse handling. Because of his skills, he was often rewarded by his employers. In turn, his colleagues grew envious leading to a lot of pranks and sabotage. Most of it was harmless, hiding his equipment, messing up his schedule, tossing dust onto his horses. The one that did him in was a wayward box of horseshoes hidden under hay. As he went to feed his favorite horse, he tripped over said box, dropping the metal bucket full of feed. Because of the loud noise, his favorite horse freaked out and kicked him square in the head.

After that incident, he recovered as much as he could after sustaining such an injury and went back to work. It was a huge change in his work efficiency. He was often confused about where he was, he’d space out and he’d get angry out of nowhere. Wasn’t long before he was fired. He couldn’t seem to get hired afterwards. His friends abandoned him and his family disowned him. The bills stacked up and he snapped!!!

Other than the reason behind WHY he went postal, he became a quiet man. He was no good at holding conversations like he used to. If you tried to converse with him, it’d only be about tending to his horses. He can carry on routines no problem but he may end up repeating tasks he’s already accomplished. Unfortunately, he stopped going out to his favorite spots since his appearances frightened folks. He used to be a decent looking fella. The stress of his injury affected his appearance a lot as well.
