Writing attempt 2
A bit of drabble writing about freder and his shrunken wolf friend
-
The fennec murred and chuckled, stroking himself as he pondered the wolf's drastically reduced size. About how the micro's world had essentially shrunk along with him. If Freder had been so considerate as to leave him with a meager two inches of height, perhaps he could accompany the larger fennec outside, perched in a coat pocket or bag. Now he was too small even for that. At only three millimeters tall, that being a generous estimate, even something as mundane as exploring Freder's apartment by himself was out of the question. He was completely at the massive fennec's mercy, and knowing that, it looked as though he might never see beyond the relative safety of Freder's bedroom again.

Writing attempt
A while ago on the way to work I began thinking about what might happen if somebody began shrinking while they were driving; this is the result. It features my size stealing character Koru and probably won't make much sense because it sort of starts in the middle of things.
---
Keith Rogan's car was rolling along a two lane country road when he unknowingly drove straight into the aura of Koru's size stealing influence, the wolf's padded fingers idly drumming the steering wheel to the beat of The Proclaimers “500 miles” as it played on the radio. A dull sinking feeling began to build in the pit of  his stomach as his eyes moved in their usual clockwork fashion to check the rear-view mirror, something wasn't right, had his view changed slightly? He reached out to adjust the mirror, a warm sensation quickly spreading throughout his body as a shiver worked its way down his spine. It happened almost too fast for him to react, the wolf shifting uncomfortably in his seat as his clothes began to loosen around him, the safety belt seeming to pull tighter against his body as it gradually reeled back into its holster.     By the time  he realized what was going on, it was too late, like the moment just before a nasty fall. The car seemed to expand around him, one hand on the wheel, the other still clutching the mirror. His body coursed with the feeling of a thousand light pin pricks as though all of his limbs had fallen asleep at once. His heart pounding, Keith struggled to control the massive vehicle as he shrunk, the rapidly diminishing wolf unable to see over the dashboard. Soon he had dwindled to the point  that his paws no longer reached the peddles, he squirmed and kicked in a desperate attempt to reach the break before letting out a scream which sounded high pitched and distorted, only furthering his sense of shock. And still he grew smaller, inch after precious inch seeming to slip away into thin air.     The car wove it's way haphazardly along the road before coming to a halt on the shoulder,  engine still idling. The driver was gone, his mass stolen away by the ever growing tiger. All that remained was a pile of clothing held within the still buckled safety belt, accompanied by the music which still played on the radio.
