um, this one is new to it too but here's this one's best understanding! (anyone feel free to correct it's mistakes)

dolls are formerly organic former humans that, through a process called "becoming" are turned inorganic.

dolls (at least in the empty spaces part of dollhood) often have a kind of owner called a witch, the witch helps the doll through its becoming and repairs and commands the doll.

dolls usually have a service they give to their witch, sometimes this is simple chores, or maid duties, or combat, or simply whatever their witch needs help with.

dolls (usually) aren't abused, they are treated with love and kindness and are valued by their witch. dolls have duties but dolla should not be neglected, dolls deserve care too.

dollspeak! dolls often speak in third person, using this one to refer to themself and whatever pronouns the doll has. they also use that one to reter to other dolls. (EX: this one would appreciate if that one took a bite of my brownie.)(this one loves her stuffed animal)
