Sign the petition.  Let Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin know that you believe that Daniel Holtzclaw has been unjustly convicted of crimes he did not commit.  Every time someone signs the petition, an email goes to the governor, lt. governor Todd Lamb, The Oklahoman, Tulsa World, KFOR-tv and KOCO-tv.

My cause, my daily prayer is that my friend Daniel gets out of prison and his good name restored.  He didn’t do it.  

12/7/2016 - Friends and believers in Daniel’s innocence went to visit Daniel in prison.  We left on the 7th, stayed overnight in a Holiday Inn Express, and the next morning went to the prison to see him.  We were allowed to stay from 10:30 am to 3 pm.  Unfortunately they were having some kind of special dinner for the employees in the visitation room, so we had to see Daniel in a small room with a table divider between us.  Erica had been to visit him before so she could tell us what to wear, what not to wear, and how the process of getting signed in and searched would go.  Cherie had never been to a prison to visit anyone before.  I had been to visit 2 different prisoners at the Jackson Prison in Michigan (30 some years ago).  It is still a scary process.  To think you are pretty much locked up with all kinds of prisoners while you are there.

Daniel looked great, but he is still so angry about this whole thing.  He wishes there was a way to prove that he didn’t do anything. But that is the problem. There is no real evidence to prove that he did it or didn’t do it.  These were regular traffic stops.  It is just a bunch of women who say he did something to them.  They didn’t even come forward with their stories until the Sex Crimes Detectives went to ask them if an officer had sexually assaulted them.  And I know that their pasts should not matter, but these are drug users and prostitutes. 

I am so glad I got to see Daniel, but at the same time it makes me even madder to see him in there.  I pray that he gets out soon.  The number of believers in his innocence is growing and we are all working to effect an appeal.

This could happen to anyone, especially here in Oklahoma where it seems that we have some corrupt government employees.  Daniel is innocent and did not do these crimes, but he was convicted anyone.  No real evidence, no witnesses.  Just outright lies from Chief Bill Citty, and DAs Prater and Geiger, and sex crime detectives Kim Davis and Rocky Gregory, and the 13 black women who were sought out and asked, “did you have a sexual encounter with a policeman?”  Cha-ching!!!! They said, why yes I did and I have been traumatized.  So Atty Crump is helping them sue the OKCPD and anyone else they can think of.

Sign the petition so that the corrupt government will know that we know what they are doing.  They get an email every time someone signs the petition.

Map of alleged crime scenes

First Jannie Ligons accused Daniel of misconduct. Then the detectives decided that Daniel must be a serial molester because why? I haven’t heard the real reason why they started investigating his traffic stops after Jannie came forward. But the only information that even tries to explain the detectives’ decision to look back at his previous traffic stops after Jannie came forward is this quote from Bill Citty:

“We started the investigation and we started looking at traffic stops he had made throughout the previous months to try to identify and initiate contact with females that we knew he had stopped during that period of time…to see if they had been sexually assaulted,” Citty said.

What stands out for me is how close to each other the accusers live and/or hang out. And that the detectives apparently only targeted black women that Daniel stopped for traffic violations.

Not all DNA is the same

DNA was found on Daniel's pants. It was skin DNA, or, 'Touch DNA,' as the experts have named it. Daniel showed you how he got a woman's 'Touch DNA' on him in his "Ligons Interrogation." He explained it in great detail. He had her lift up her blouse, just enough for him to pat around her waistband, checking for concealed weapons of any kind. When you stop someone at 2 in the morning, you want to make sure they aren't packing. It's just good sense. He explained that his pats were with the back of his hand, not the palm-side.

Now, picture this. He finishes with the search, talks to her, then lets her go home. At some point, either at a restroom, or when he gets home, he unzips his pants. TA-DA. He gets her 'Touch DNA' on the inside part of the flap that covers his fly. That's where they found DNA.
