Get More Traffic Using Sites Like Shareyt
If you have a website and don't know about sites like Shareyt, read on to find out how to get more traffic without landing your site on a blacklist.
But first... let's go back a few years...
Early Internet Ways To Get More Traffic
Traffic building strategies started out simply: Get as many links into your site as you can, and submit your site to as many online directories and search engines as possible.
Phone-book strategies were used - start your article or website name with an "A" so when a visitor lands on the page of a thousand links, yours is closer to the top and gets more clicks.
Google Changed How To Get More Traffic
Before Google emerged as a dominant search engine, there were a number of other sources people used in their attempt to find content online. Altavista and Yahoo! are two that come to mind (it's been so long), DMOZ for a while...
When Google first flexed its muscle, the game changed for bloggers and website owners everywhere. This was the first of many changes to come, all lead by Google in an attempt to provide fast, quality content for people using its search engine.
Suddenly, entire businesses could be built on Google traffic alone. Traffic building strategies that focused entirely on Google traffic weren't uncommon.
And when Google dropped their site, businesses faltered.
Traffic from directory sites just didn't compare to Google search engine traffic, and Search Engine Optimization specialized companies popped up everywhere.
How Facebook, Google+ & Pinterest Changed Traffic Building Strategies
In the middle of the first decade of 2000, a slew of new social networks such Pinterest, Twitter, and of course Facebook sprung up, and in the years since then, their popularity has simply exploded. Facebook, for example, has recently reached the 1 billion users mark.
The great aspect of these networks is that they give smaller site developers and beginning online businessmen a chance to promote themselves without ever spending a whole lot of money, and without relying on Search Engine Optimization (which changes with every Google algorithm update) and Google traffic as a primary source of visitors.
Beware When Hiring Social Media Managers And Professionals
As a result, many internet marketers have put together packages and schemes which promise you likes, views, subscribers, re-pins, followers, and whatever else exists on social networks for a modest price.
Most of them, however, will only bring you down, and here's why:
As you are probably aware, Google has been drawing the ire of millions of bloggers and business owners with their algorithm updates. What many people don't seem to realize is that Google is trying to fight black-hat SEO techniques, such as keyword stuffing, linking schemes, and yes, the purchase of attention when it comes to social media.
In other words, if you are going into business with a company that provides you ten thousand views on your page in less than 24 hours, how do you think Google will react? How do you think the network's moderators are going to react? Do you think it's possible for anyone who is just starting their business to get this much attention in such a short time? Can a network like Facebook allow such a thing to happen?
As a result, not only is your social network page going to be excluded from Google's search results, but the social network may ban you.
Now, that is not to say that you cannot use social media exchange services… you simply need to be smart about it.
How To Use Sites Like Shareyt In A Reasonable Way
Fortunately, it seems as though many sites like Shareyt have started to catch on to that as they now provide a very interesting service: you follow, view and like other people’s content (you can actually view what you really like and skip over what doesn’t interest you), earn credits, which you then use to get views, clicks, followers and likes of your own... and that's the only way to go.
Taking it easy and going with a community developed by sites like Shareyt will make everything look completely natural and will increase your page's success over time without attracting unwanted attention.

Can You Buy Traffic Like You Buy Forgiveness?
For an overwhelming majority of human beings, money is an important factor in life and can be used to achieve a near-infinite number of things.

Turn it in here
It is not uncommon to hear relationship tips which boil down to buying your way to affection or forgiveness, in most cases through jewelry or some other shiny and expensive trinkets.
While it may be a common tip (diamonds are a girl's best friend!), how many times has it really worked for you in the long run?
How many times have you bought your wife or your girlfriend something to win their affection or forgiveness and they remembered it for years to come?
Chances are it never happened… as a matter of fact, chances are that you're pretty frustrated because this tactic for how to get her attention simply isn't working.
Why Buying Affection Is A Dangerous Game
What's wrong with this method?
After all, various "experts" on relationships are suggesting it and besides, it is considered to be something people with common sense would take for granted.
Well, as it turns out, when you spend money to get her attention the results are only going to be short-term and immediate. The objects you give her will not translate into some kind of long-lasting emotion for you; she will get used to them, she will get bored of them, and then she will forget them.
While it may seem like all you need to do is buy more stuff, it will only make things worse because it will make the relationship material-based, and unless you are both absolute materialists, there isn't a chance in hell it will work out.
So... What's This Got To Do With Buying Likes For My Website?
So anyways, what does this all have to do with buying traffic, as the title of the article clearly indicates?
Well, let's start at the beginning. You are probably aware at this point that it is possible for people to get more instagram followers, to get more Etsy traffic, get more Youtube viewers, get Facebook Likes and Twitter followers by using pay to click traffic exchange services.
Why do people do that? Well, building a big list of followers or a stream of traffic takes a lot of time and hard work… if done manually. The other alternative is to skip the hard work part, sign up to a few traffic exchange sites and list your new blog post and new video, like a few posts and videos that others have submitted, and, and sit back and wait for others to do the same. Voila! The job is done! Right?
Well, not quite seeing as how making such a purchase is very much akin to the relationship described above, where you buy someone's affection.
What? Likes Compared To Love??
Naturally, traffic isn't the same as affection, but hear me out:
Traffic in itself is pretty much useless if the people coming to your website don't care about what you have to offer.
At first, the influx of traffic will get your website higher up in the search engine rankings, but if you choose the wrong strategies for using a social or traffic exchange service, your bounce rate will increase, the average number of pages explored will go down, and if you're advanced enough to be tracking it, your conversion rate will be incredibly low. Obviously, these aren't good statistics to be looking at on a regular basis.
All in all, buying traffic is a really ineffective form of cheating, much like buying someone's attention, love and affection.
It will pay dividends for a very short time, but if you're doing it to make up for some other deficiency, you risk getting stuck in a vicious circle where spending more money will only end up making things worse.
If you want long-term results and a stable stream of traffic that will bring you money, you need to build your business and relationships naturally, with hard work and determination; buying your way to the top just won't work, long term.

Okay, so this isn't a traffic-building taboo, but it's an Internet taboo...
Whaddya think? Is it showing that you "just don't care" to use lower-case characters in your texting?
Personally, at 40 I've got some fat fingertips and I have to remind myself to breathe deeply and relax when I have to text beyond a few words.
I happily revert to my text-based gaming days where the words "omw" and "tx" were commonplace for "on my way" and "thanks".
I even text the word 'snicker' sometimes.
How about you? How's texting changed your communication style?

The History of Traffic Exchange & Websites
Personally, I made my first website back in 1993.
It was all text-based and coded by hand with the extremely primitive HTML language that existed back then (before tables, even!), and for the real nerds out there, I did all my editing in vi, not pico.
My first website was more like a "links list". It was my bookmark list, separate from the browser I was running. Separate from the computer I was currently connecting on.
Looking for coupon codes for FreeSocialSignals and TeraLikes?
Watch the TeraLikes blog!
It linked to sites I had found in my wanderings, so I could find them again to go back.
There were no search engines at the time - although Yahoo! directory came out with a "submit your own site to our directory" site around about that time, and that served as a make-shift search engine for a while.
With no search engines, you may wonder, how did I find these interesting sites (note, that's a referral link for you to sign up to FreeSocialActions.com as my downline so I can see how it works) to bookmark on my own personal website, in the first place?
How Finding Cool Stuff Used To Happen
Back in the day, back before Google, back before Yahoo had much of a directory to search, and actually, back before Netscape 1.0 came out... the way people found your site was because someone who had a popular site linked to yours in some way.
Or, because you participated in the USENET newsgroups or MajorDomo brand mailing lists and put your web page address in your .signature file so people could see it when you participated in the endless online debates.
Or, unfortunately, because you exploited mail servers that had security holes in them, and spammed a whack of users and a small percentage of people are always curious enough to click.
So, Back In The Day, Traffic Exchange Was NORMAL
Yes. It was seen as an extension of the offline magazine publication world where publishers often trade ad space in their newsletters etc, in order to increase exposure and fill ad space without increasing advertising costs.
Nowdays, Many People Think Traffic Exchange Is BAD!
Unfortunately, Google has even put a penalty into their algorithms to dissuade the old fashioned "reciprocal linking" strategy.
What happened from then (1993) to now (2012) is what the subject of this blog is about. Stay tuned, bring popcorn and your opinion too.
