I miss interacting with fandom and friends on here, but I’m in a really bad place right now. Every time I log on with the intent of returning I just end up feeling sick and obsessing over little things and spiralling and seeing that I can no longer see yet another blog that I Ioved. Just letting you know I still exist. Whether that’s a good thing or not depends on your view I suppose. But yeah I miss you all, and there’s no need to worry if you were worried, I am safe, even when I don’t want to be. Maybe see you soon.✌🏻

Okay I’m going to have to take a break and log out. Things I haven’t thought about in a very long time are resurfacing and I can’t cope with this. I can’t fucking handle being accused of condoning this shit. I’ve been through it myself. And until now it all seemed like something I didn’t have to think about, it seemed small and so far away. I can’t fucking do this.

All that remains for me to do is make a few things clear.

1. I absolutely do not condone sexual contact with minors. I never have, and I never will. I have been a victim of this myself so fuck you. Nobody is saying it was okay. Cerisia knows it was not okay. She did all she could to respect Jed once she realised what she was doing. She is not a predator, or a danger to children. There was an inappropriate crush, and actions that should have been thought out and decided against. That does not make her a predator.

2. The friendship bias you claim I have makes no sense because I was friends with Jed too. Very good friends, I think. I spoke to her and Ceri both at the time this all happened (over a month ago, I’ve not spoken with her since, but not because of that conversation). I’m not trying to justify the obviously inappropriate messages. But I’ve watched my friend go through hell and be called the most horrific things that she just isn’t, because of a (admittedly hefty) mistake, one that she has learned a whole fucking lot from already, and had before this whole situation was made public, and I’ve seen anybody who remotely associates (whether they knew what happened or not) with her be harassed in DMs by people who have nothing to do with this. For fuck sake I should have nothing to do with this. But things just keep on going. More people getting involved. Several anons asking me about all this. So I answered, probably against my better judgement. But once again, I will be answering no more of them. So stop sending them.

3. The toxicity I referred to was the gc. I had issues long before this whole business with Ceri. It began as a lovely and supportive environment. I miss it. But it hadn’t been that for a long time. Those who attribute my leaving it or others who left as having anything to do with Cerisia are misinformed. Just saying.

4. I honestly don’t know what else anybody expects from Ceri. She is no longer active in social media. She hadn’t made contact for a long time before the original post was even made. She apologised to Jed before contact ceased. I get that apologies don’t have to be accepted but the point still stands. She can’t take anything back. She’s been through hell with her mental health because of all she has been called. What else is there? What more could she do?

So that’s what I have to say. I have never claimed to be any kind of moral pillar, but fucking hell I will not stand being accused of being okay with sexual contact with minors. Because I am NOT. I’m not going to speak on anybody else’s behalf any longer. If you want to hear anything more on this, you will not be getting it from me.
