It’s important to be aware of your sadness but not let it consume or define you. I found that I was thinking a lot about my sadness, because I wanted to figure out why I was sad and fix it. It was kind of counter intuitive, but spending less energy and attention on it helped me focus on the happier parts of life. I am more than just my sadness, and I found that helped me breathe more. 💛
