En este nuevo disco Pale Waves retoma su sonido inicial característico (álbum My Mind Makes Noises y EP ALL THE THINGS I NEVER SAID) que fueron perdiendo en el transcurso de sus últimos dos trabajos musicales y lo potenciaron al máximo.

Es como si mezclaras el instrumental de The Cure y The Cranberries con las letras y voz de una morrita lesbiana. 💋
