A symphonic scarlet high

Up until the lust and lies

Destroyed both me and you.

I imagined we could be

All the colors in the sky and sea

But we became a tragedy

It was something we both knew.

I believed that hope could spark

A flame of auburn in the dark

But in this lawless, losing war

What do blind men do?

At least I’m sure the sun

Would never come undone

Even when all else is gone

Tomorrow always comes anew.
