INTEREST CHECK!

I've noticed that there are many trans/non binary/genderqueer creators in the good omens fandom, and I find that marvellous. I would like to celebrate it and the diversity of our experiences.

I'm thinking about organising a little event. I'd create an Ao3 Collection, so people could submit works that talk about gender (be it having trans characters or exploring the theme in somehow). The fan creations would be shared alongside posts with the author talking a little about their experience (or maybe just a celebratory I'm ___, I'm queer, and I'm here! if they don't feel comfortable sharing much), be it via reblog or post in the event blog.

A hell of a neighbour

Imagine you wake up one day and discover someone moving to the flat next door. And when you go to greet them — and ask for them to lower the volume on the bebop they insist on blasting — you face this. Yellow eyes, a delvishy smirk, waves of red hair. You may not know why someone would be wearing contacts like that while moving — they do seem quite bothersome — but you do know your life will be now much less peaceful.

Summary:

Aziraphale is living peacefully until a new person occupies the neighbouring flat. Crowley is loud and infuriating on purpose. His cat-like contacts are also pretty weird, but Aziraphale finds himself mesmerised by them. What, exactly, is his neighbour?

Crowley is retired. His new life among humans would be cut to be annoying and boring, but his neighbour shows him there's more to it. It's all worthy it if he can get under Aziraphale's nerves... or his sheets.
