what ice-t could have meant by “TV is make believe” when told he ate a bagel on law & order:

-a stunt double of some kind ate the bagel

-the bagel wasn’t actually a bagel; was perhaps a donut

-the bagel was cgi

-he ate the bagel but considers it his character eating the bagel and not him

and then with the permanent minority characters privilege and discrimination and stuff is always brought up but never defines their whole story its just nice thank u shonda rhimes 

ok greys anatomy is a fucking ridiculous show but the amount of diversity in it is so good like there are so many lgbt+/poc characters where their disadvantages have absolutely nothing to do with the plot like i just watched an ep from like season 4 with an interracial lesbian couple on it and they weren’t used to have some tragic episode about homophobia they just had a sick kid!
