Some modern!headcanons about second Vanderboom trio:

- Rose apparently wears all black like in the original, but it's not because she's goth and wants to appear mystical. Rose just doesn't see herself in colored clothes and thinks she looks ridiculous in them. However, on one of her birthdays Frank and Leo gave her the only colorful patterned dress she has ever seen, which caused her to completely change her closet.

- Frank, since he has poor eyesight, also wears glasses and treasures them very much. Emma, working as a florist, doesn't earn much and obviously can't buy new glasses for Frank every time, so even a small crack on the lens is driving Frank crazy.

- Leonard, being a very mobile guy, is often injured and his leg is no exception. Due to the fact that he broke his leg very often, the bones in it became less strong, which caused frequent pain in it, because of which Leo began to call it unlucky. But even in spite of such difficulties, he is not discouraged and still loves sports

Had a daydream about Rusty Lake Vampire AU.

Albert turned himself to a vampire with some alchemy tricks to gain power and maybe become more attractive to Ida (that one he failed).

Rose, as his daughter, inherited vampirism, but did not feel okay with killing people/drinking human blood.

Laura didn't inherit vampirism but surely was haunted by some bloody visions and desires
