The ideas a little fuzzy in my memory, but I think it involves not working. I seem to recall a requirement of dancing. [He teased her and nodded.] Should I get you something for your fever?

I understand. It’s standard procedure. We can't exactly make instant determinations on who made an honest mistake and who might be aiding the cause at hand or trying to take the law into their own hands.

I’m afraid I may have misspoken the last time we had a discussion.

Perhaps it would be if we didn’t spend an absurd amount of time with our noses buried in books. Maybe if the curriculum taught more offensive spells then we would have the capabilities to get things done. Perhaps if we didn’t tell students who failed exams that they were stupid all while praising the ones who can turn a mouse into a teapot. When the hell am I going to need to do that?

Learning how to turn a mouse into a teapot is the first step to being able to transfigure yourself into something which could camouflage you and save your life. I won’t argue that I think that the curriculum should be updated. However, I don’t think that teaching offensive spells at a young age is wise. A stronger emphasis on defense. I cannot picture a time where defense against a werewolf is taught at Hogwarts though. That is not only advanced, but dangerous for a skilled wizard.

A night off? I’m not familiar with that concept. [she offered him a small smile and took the coffee] This is why you should really consider PR, Kings. You always find the positive spin on things.

Never. We’re both busy. Though after you’re better maybe we should take a night off. [He smiled as he brought her a fresh cup of coffee.] I don’t think you’re a whiny baby at all. It’s admirable that you tried to work through it, so often half a sneeze and people call off work. Your dedicated and you want to make a difference there’s nothing pathetic in that. 

Is that you’re way of telling me I’m neglecting you? [she teasedback] No, being a whiny baby makes me pathetic. I should have left sooner, but I thought I could push through.

Willing and not too busy is looking to be the key combination. If you’re really up for it though, I need my bag. They said I’d get it back whenever they let us go from the holding cells, but I didn’t notice that didn’t happen til I got home and didn’t have keys to get into our apartment.
