I want to talk to people.

Yes part of this site is about rping with one another, and making sure that our muses talk to one another and potentially grow closer (or try to rip one another apart, but some of us want that too). But I do not want to just have the rp and nothing else. To be able to talk to one another and talk theoretical about our muses, or talk about ships. 

Hell, being able to talk about anything at all helps. Some of us just like to talk to one another, while others of us genuinely feel like people don’t like us when there is general silence. We want to form relationships, and for some of us starting interactions is hard enough that trying to find the courage to talk to someone OOC separately is nearly impossible to find.

This is an open invitation to come and talk to us. Make people feel welcome. RPing is more fun with other people anyways.

You won’t know it’s the last time, of course. You rarely do.

Later, when thinking back to it, you’ll try to remember whether they lingered for just a moment before they broke away. You’ll try to remember the placement of their hands.

Much later still, you’ll become stuck on the memory of how you met. How you fell in love with their mind. How they surprised you. How they challenged you to become a better person.

You’ll spend Friday evenings trying to disentangle them from your psyche. Like finding an endless array of their socks at the bottom of your drawer. Wishing they would disappear yet being unable to throw them out.

You think about calling them, if only to receive a reminder of their voice on the answerphone. You almost do, but something stops you. You remember a poem you read a long time ago. It went something like -

hello hello. I hope everyone’s been doing great these last few days, weeks, months? I don’t know time anymore but I know its been quite a few since my life kinda exploded. it’s rough and there’s a lot for me to still figure out, but I’m loving my job and spending time with family. 

That being said, I think I’m fiiinally settled enough to start writing again. I’ve started building a new blog as well as a new reference blog for Alston. But I’ve pretty much chilling on discord these days. So if anyone would like to write, whether that’s picking up where we left off or something new on discord, hit that <3 and I’ll send you a message. 

I would like to limit it to M/F or F/F for right now. Not sure my muse is flexed enough to be the female in a m/f scenario at the moment, but that could change.
