Had some thunderstorms and rainy days - knocked the power out for awhile. That just gave us more time for @doritos and board games. 😁 — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/IJNuo1g

It was fun that #stpatricksday 🍀 fell on Spring Break this year. We had a nice sunny day at @scissortailpark and drank magical shamrock shakes at @eatatspark! Oklahoma weather is so crazy this time of year-snow, then 80 degrees and sunny, and then last night golf ball sized hail. 😝 I’m glad we found the perfect window to enjoy the park and some good treats! #eatatspark #okcparks #oklahomaparks #kidsofokc #okc #oklahomacity #oklahomafood #okcfoodie #okcfoodblogger #okckids #oklahomacityphotographer #edmondok #mustangok #yukonok #oklahomablogger — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/oAITOlm

How is my #milfam doing this morning? If you are a #milspouse and you need a listening ear, please reach out to me. I’m praying for all the hard working and homeschooling military wives I know - remember to utilize all the resources at your disposal, connect with your base chaplains, key spouse, and local support groups when you need help or just someone to talk with! We usually don’t ask for help… tryin to do it all on our own. Just remember even though you *can* do it all by yourself doesn’t mean you *should* do it all alone. ______ #militarylife #militaryfamily #militarywife #airforcewife #armywife #navywife #militaryhomeschoolers — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/R2XgjvM

I still can’t believe a whole year has gone by with this little one! He had a wonderful birthday. We loved celebrating him. I have really savored all the baby moments. I think having other kids that are so much older, it helped me so slow down and appreciate all the baby moments and stages that were kind of a blur with the other babies. I also haven’t hit any of the road blocks I had before of “when will they start sleeping” or “why is my house such a mess all the time” kind of things - because I know these seasons actually go pretty quick. This has allowed me so much more joy in the small baby years and not so much anxiety or strife. I will say though, adding a third kid in, with working as a nurse during a pandemic that doesn’t seem to end, and schooling at home - woof. It’s a lot 😂 - but I love it. #babyboy #firstbirthday #workingmom #workinghomeschoolmom #homeschoolmom #motherhood — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/32DEFXE

Considering doing some extra patio gardening this year - instead of a bunch of tiny pots, maybe a tall garden tower? What do you guys think? Have you ever used a composting garden tower? ______ #patiogarden #patiogardening #porchgarden #smallgarden #gardentower #gardentower2 #zone7gardening #zone7b — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/3Kop1jK

Last day of school before Christmas break! We’re excited. As a homeschool mom, I’m feeling relieved, because that means I get a break from teaching! I’m going to watch some Christmas movies, bake cookies, make lefse, drink hot cocoa, and put ornaments on the tree. What are you doing this week for the holidays? — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/3IVMoAv

I love these little felt Christmas trees with the velcro ornaments! My 10 month old is obsessed, and it keeps him away from the real tree 🎄. I love his little 😛 concentration face 😂. #christmaswithkids #babysfirstchristmas — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/3oDBJ5t

Today I’m getting out all our Christmas stuff out of the attic. I got out our advent wreath and realized I left the candles from last year in the box. It gets really hot in our attic. 🥴 😂 A good reminder on the first day of #advent that the Christmas season doesn’t have to be perfect - being present with our kids and sharing God’s light and love with them is what’s important. The word “advent” is from the Latin word adventus, which means “coming” and refers to the coming of Jesus into our world. There are lots of different ways people practice Advent all over the world. One of our family traditions is to use the advent wreath and light a new candle each week the four weeks before Christmas. After dinner each night we do different activities by candlelight since it’s so dark out this time of year. I’m really looking forward to reading and singing about hope and joy and good things this month. — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/315JCas
