I’ve been running this Nico blog for a few years now, mostly to archive photos. I’ve been a massive fan of Nico’s music since I was a teenager and I want to thank you all for following 😊

Re-voir.com are releasing the ‘The Nico Box’,
A long-gestating project is finally nearing completion: the upcoming release of a Blu-ray box set bringing together five rare films by Philippe Garrel, centered on his intimate and fascinating collaboration with Nico. Still in production, the set is expected to be released by late summer, following extensive restoration work — and even a full re-edit in the case of Le Bleu des Origines. Several lost or alternate soundtracks were unearthed and remixed, giving these marginal works a newly resonant dimension.
This box set gathers five films:
▪️ The Inner Scar (1970-1971, 35mm, color, 60 min)
▪️ Athanor (1972, 35mm, color, muted, 20 min, restoration 2025)
▪️ The Crystal Cradle (1975, 35mm, color, mono, 72 min, restoration 2025)
▪️ An angel passes by (1975, 35mm, n/b, mono, 82 min, restoration 2025)
▪️ The Blue of Origins (1977, 35mm, n/b, muted, 12 min, restoration / remounting 2025)
