the thing isssss that one special from the 80 page giant Genuinely changed the way that i viewed the relationship between cameron and jesse because in the inheritance they are consistently two seconds away from fistfighting especially after the specific betrayal that nearly kills the two of them--

so it's like okay whatever. however then the special makes me want to explode myself.

"Box." He repeats, more for himself in confirmation than anything else. Cameron is good at this -- he WILL be, he HAS to be. Can't let the new 'friend' he met on a whim, down and out, can he? No. He has a name to make, a face to splay on America's Most Fucking Wanted maybe -- if that's even a thing anymore with how many Indian Hill monsters are running around.

The blond wets his lips with a quick slide of tongue as he slinks into the warehouse. It only takes about thirty seconds of searching, maybe a few off-- but Junior eventually manages to find an adequately sized box aforementioned by his partner in crime. "Ooh-- is this it?" He calls over, hunkered down in between some crates and tarp covered material. It was nestled in with some hemp-looking sacks and hidden under a batch of what looked like imported pickles. Is that even a THING?

"You ever see that movie Seven?" Cameron asks idly, chuckling soon after as he seems to quote said movie -- "Whaaaaat's in the boooox?" God, he hopes Jerome has at least seen or heard of the damn movie or he's going to feel super awkward.

He’s almost tempted to go find Cameron’s father and kill him anyway. Or at least give him a taste of Jerome’s insanity gas. He hasn’t gotten the chance to test the new batch yet, and he’s itching to try it out on a hapless citizen. Cameron’s dad isn’t a hapless citizen, but Jerome has to admit that it would be fun to see the asshole go insane. He nudges past Cameron to shove the window open and swings himself up and over the sill. “Box.”

He lands boots first on the carpeted floor. “Should be about yea big.” He holds out his gloved hands, giving Cameron a rough estimate of the box’s size. “Holler when ya find it.” In truth, Jerome is here for another reason. He’s got vials of Crane’s fear toxin in his jacket. Like Jerome’s insanity gas, the fear toxin was a new batch. Jerome had offered to test it for Crane on his next mission. It’s a simple matter of finding the house’s air ducts and chucking the vials into the ducts. And if Cameron gets caught in the crossfire, well, that’s one less criminal Jerome has to deal with.

Just first learning about it was a headache and half, he never saw the appeal. Physical money always had headway in the world.

But the questions that Thad has poised to Junior don't go unanswered - rhetoric or not. "Don't you guys have time-traveling powers or something? You could just blame it on Future-You. Easy." Another snicker escapes the blonde as he's noogied; he knew Thad wouldn't take that as a good idea either. "Easy-- easy! Watch the goods! I'm due for a perm soon."

No, he's not.

"All this talk about biting-- you ever been to a Hibachi? They throw food at your face. You could legally bite things there."

If there was anyone Thad could rely on to be stupid with him (in the rare moments he was comfortable enough to be so) it was Cameron hand's down.

"You're so sprocking weird, Cam. I swear." Thad just couldn't help the grin and laugh with him, "First off, I don't there's enough money in the world to get me to do that. And second even if I did take you up on that how am I gonna explain it to the other speedsters?"

Thad's voice goes up a pitch as he mimics how that conversation would go, "'Ooooh, don't arrest me, Flash, I bit all those in self defense and not cause one of my best friends is an idiot.'" He laughs. "They'd probably put a muzzle on me right there and then and throw me in an psychiatric ward if they're kind."

"Real genius stuff here, Cam. I think this under-baked idea of yours needs a bit more time to cook in your brainpan." He says wrapping his own arm around Cam and give him a noogie.
